We are so proud to share that our Women’s and Men’s teams have been NATIONALLY recognized AGAIN as a 2025-2026 NISCA SCHOLAR team!

🥇Our Women’s team earned GOLD for the THIRD year in a row which requires a team minimum GPA of 3.750!

….and…

🥇Our Men’s team earned GOLD for the FIRST year ever, which requires a team minimum GPA of 3.750!

Great job to both our teams as they balanced both athletics and academics during the school year!

Your Ragin’ Bulls Varsity Swim Team are NATIONALLY RANKED NISCA DUAL MEET TEAMS!!! The Women’s team placed 14th in Class 7 in the entire nation, and the Men’s team placed 21st in Class 2 in the entire nation!! Great job to everyone on the team who put in the work this past season to make this happen! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Registration for Hickory Ridge Athletics for the 2026-2027 School Year is now open!!! Please go into DragonFly (or scan QR code) and fill out all forms that are requested from you to get to a 100% completion to be ready to go for Swim and Dive!

We are looking to offer pre-season swim team workouts again this season which REQUIRES forms to be completed on DragonFly (for the 26-27 season) to participate! More details about those workouts as we get closer.

Congratulations to our Seniors, Ellie Glennon, Sloan Kastler, Parker Murphy, and Uden Shakya for being awarded NISCA's Academic All-American national recognition for the 2025-2026 season!!

To qualify, a swimmer must have a 3.750 GPA heading into their final semester, be a Senior, have lettered, and submit a completed application for review by the NISCA chair. These Seniors mark Hickory Ridge's 7th ever NISCA Academic All-American Recipients! 🎉

Greater Metro 6A/7A GREATNESS 🤩

Your very own Parker Murphy was named GMAC Conference Swimmer of the Year for the 2025-2026 Season! Showing that his continued performance ranked him in the best of the conference!
..and Coach Matt was also recognized with the GMAC Conference Men's Swim Coach of the Year as voted on by peer swimming and diving coaches within the conference!

Recognition at the conference level is a big honor and we are so thankful that our team is represented! 🤩

🔥 ANOTHER NEW TEAM RECORD 🔥

Parker Murphy does it AGAIN!

At the inaugural NCHSAA 7A State Championships at the Triangle Aquatic Center on Thursday, Parker lowered his own school record in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 1:55.29🤘🏼

The previous record? Also his.
1:56.21 set on January 7, 2026 at the 25–26 Cabarrus County Championship.

We are incredibly proud of the leadership, preparation, and relentless drive Parker brings to the Ragin’ Bulls every single day. Records aren’t given — they’re earned.

And he earned this one. 🏊‍♂️🤘🏼

🔥 JOEY DID IT AGAIN 🔥

At the inaugural NCHSAA 7A State Championships at the Triangle Aquatic Center, Joey Sinicropi lowered his own Hickory Ridge record in the 100 Breaststroke with a blazing:

⏱️ 58.48

The previous record was an already fast 59.64, set by Joey on January 12, 2026 at the 25–26 GMAC 6A/7A Conference Championship.

That’s a 1.16 second drop at the biggest meet of the season!

We are incredibly proud of the work, discipline, and leadership he has brought to the program in just two seasons.
