We’d like to welcome our newest long-term tenants to The Bateman Camps! Unfortunately, they moved in without a reservation, haven’t paid a dime in rent, and completely ignored our occupancy limits for this cabin.

For now, we’ll let them stay rent-free and enjoy their riverfront accommodations. We just ask that they keep the chirping down after quiet hours and clean up after themselves.

Stay tuned for future updates on our smallest guests of the season! 🐣

What a great Memorial Day weekend at The Bateman Camps! We officially kicked off the season and couldn't have asked for a better opening weekend. The camps are cleaned up, refreshed, and ready for our next guests.

We had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful couple who stayed with us and even spent some time gold panning along the river and exploring the area. One of those simple Maine experiences that makes this place special.

We’re back at The Bateman Camps getting everything cleaned up and ready after a long Maine winter.

The snow is melting, river flowing, camp fires are going, and camp is finally coming back to life.

☃️Winter isn’t quite ready to let go here in the Maine woods… but we are!❄️

Snow still blankets the cabins at The Bateman Camps, but behind the scenes, we’re already hard at work getting everything ready for the season ahead.

In just a few short weeks, these cabins will be back to life with fires crackling, grills going, and guests enjoying everything this property has to offer. Whether it’s a quiet couple’s getaway in one of our smaller cabins or a family trip with room to spread out, camp will be ready.

We’re putting the finishing touches on:
✔️ Cabins cleaned and prepped
✔️ Outdoor spaces opened back up
✔️ Fire pits and grills ready to go
✔️ Trails, river access, and new outdoor games

The Bateman Camps offers off-grid camping… but not the “haven’t showered in 4 days and questioning your life choices” kind. You still get hot showers, real bathrooms (yes, actual flushing toilets), Starlink internet fast enough to posting selfies, propane appliances even the coffee maker, and solar power to keep the lights on. It’s all the peace and quiet of the outdoors without having to become a full-time survival expert.

And the best part…
Spring in this area is something special. Waterfalls are flowing, wildlife is moving, and adventures like Tumbledown, Mt. Blue, and Angel Falls are right around the corner.
