🏀🏀🏀2026 Byron-Bergen Youth Boys Basketball Summer Clinic
Who? Open to any Byron-Bergen Central School BOY ENTERING Grades 3rd-6th that is interested in learning the game of basketball.
The instructor is Dave Carson. Former Varsity Basketball Coach and Athletic Director in the Niagara-Orleans League. Husband of Mrs. Carson, ESPE Teacher at BB. Father of three students at BB. ESPE Teacher at Barker Central School and BB 8U Baseball coach.
What? The primary focus will be individual offensive skills. Wear sneakers and comfortable athletic clothing. Bring a basketball (we will have extra). Do not dribble in the hallway. Recommended size basketball for grades 3rd-4th is a 27.5” (size 5) and for grades 5th-6th is a 28.5” (size 6) ball.
Where? Byron-Bergen Elementary School Gym. Enter through the exterior doors by the gym.
When? Monday, August 17; Wednesday, August 19; Thursday, August 20; Friday, August 21
Entering Grades 3rd-4th time slot is 1:15-2:15 p.m. on the above dates.
Entering Grades 5th-6th time slot is 2:30-3:30 p.m. on the above dates.
Parents/Guardians are asked to stay for the session.
Please do not arrive in the gym more than 5 minutes before your child’s session begins.
Sign-in at the gym desk when arriving. Sign-out when leaving.
Note - no basketball on Tuesday, August 18
Additional Information: There is no cost to attend this event. Please return the bottom of this form to your child’s classroom teacher or Mrs. Carson in the gym by the end of the school year. You can also take a picture of the form and email Coach Carson at [email protected]. For those that play BB Youth baseball, you can hand it to Coach Carson at the End of the Season Picnic at the Fire Hall. For those that registered, Mr. Carson will send a confirmation/reminder email in early August. The registration deadline is Friday, July 31. Reach out to Coach Carson via email if you have questions.
