Freestyle Tactical: Krav Maga and Sambo Club Freestyle Tactical LLC in connection with Freestyle Krav Maga and Sambo club is proud to serve the West Michigan area.

We are a multifaceted private self defense club offering training in, self defense Krav Maga, Russian Sambo, Mass shooter prevention, CPL classes, Fi****ms instructing, Church security training and more. We have been a part of the community for nearly 20 years. Chris Renfroe started Freestyle Krav Maga in the Hamilton and Holland area, to mentor Special Forces candidates as well as to train police

and civilians in self-defense and hand to hand combat. Soon he added Sambo classes to offer a sport option to the school. In 2015 Nate Kooienga was asked to join the coaching and instructing team and in 2018 Freestyle started a new program called C.H.A.O.S. (Crisis Handling and Organized Security) with the intention of training local church security teams. With the passing of Chris, I (Gumby/Nate Kooienga) feel the need to help his wife Becky. Chris did not have much by way of earthly possessions. Becky has also struggled with health issues and has had several surgeries in the recent years. I would like to bless her with some of the blessings that Chris has been to me. If you would like to contribute you can venmo my wife Kristin with a note for Becky/Chris and she will make sure it gets to Becky. It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we say that we have lost a dear friend. Chris Renfroe our lead instructor and founder has walked his last path of his journey. He is now with his creator and Lord.

Chris has been a huge part of so many lives and will be missed greatly. Please keep his wife Becky, his daughter Norma, her husband Tim, and Timmy his grandson in your prayers. We love you Chris and by God's grace we will meet again.
