Reminder: Bicentennial Park Planning meeting Monday, August 8th 7pm @ Culter Park.
We will be looking at park planning for Cutler Park specifically, future additions, and updates to the existing features. We would love to see you but if you cannot attend you can also send your questions/suggestions to [email protected]

Thursday, July 7th - Come out and check out Schlitz Creek at Cutler Park! Looking forward to a great summer of concerts again this year.

We are about a month out until we return to Cutler Park with Sounds of Summer. Free concerts every Thursday night in July (weather permitting). Our line up this season should have a little something for everyone. Schlitz Creek bluegrass kicks us off July 7. Then That Beatles Thing will be flashing us back to the Fab 4's music on July 14. Frantic Kingdom Band will be bringing the blues/rock fans their favorites on July 21, and our Finale will be with Brena band on July 28. The best part about all of these shows is the price tag. They are all ABSOLUTELY FREE thanks to our friends at the Byron Township. So come join your host P. Williams Productions and LW Studio at Sounds of Summer every Thursday evening in July.

We are in the planning and brainstorming phase to see where we want to take parks & recreation in the future and would love your feedback! Over the next few months, there will be special meetings of the Recreation Commission to look at master planning and expansion/land acquisition, and park improvements.
Tuesday, May 10th from 7-8pm we will have our first session at the Community Center. It will be open-house style come and go as you are able, we will have maps and diagrams and you will be able to share your ideas for more park/green space and connectivity.
*** This meeting will focus ONLY on land acquisition and non-motorized pathways***
Our goal is to keep our community active and engaged in a safe and sustainable way.
Please fill out the survey below to help us get the ball rolling. There will be several surveys coming out as we progress through this because we value community input. Future special meetings will break down each specific park for individualized park plans and recreation programming.

The Recreation Commission for Byron Township is having their monthly meeting at Cutler Park on Monday, Sept 13th at 4pm in the small pavilion by the ball field. Please feel free to drop in and share any of your park ideas or concerns with them.
