Got out of the house and hit the lake for the first time in almost 2 months today. Been so busy with work and trying to raise my puppy that I have not had time. Felt good to get my line stretched again a few times. Below is a couple pictures of the fish I caught and another one that a friend of mine that went with me caught.

Had somebody ask me a couple weeks ago if I could tie up this skirt pattern so figured I would do it on one of these new spinner bait heads I painted up a couple days ago. Wonder if them fish down on the DEAD SEA will eat it !!

The beginning of a BIG MONSTER order I am working on for a local customer. The below is 9 spinner baits in 3/8 oz. Just need to add the skirts on these and they will be done. Got 9 more to do in 1/2 oz and another 9 in 3/4 oz. Also doing him 6 Bug Eyed Bangers and 6 of the Poison Tail Jigs with the Sickel Hooks. Hopefully finish his order by the end of the weekend so he can swing by and pick up one day next week. Got another boat coming this weekend to start on so need to get this order KNOCKED OUT !!!

New Spinner Bait Head we are coming out with. Building me a few of them now to test out and play around with. Comes with a Wire Bait Keeper to hold your trailer on. Will post pictures of them when I am finished building them also.

Just got done Buffing and Polishing the Passenger side of this boat. Also Polished the Fender. Went ahead and pulled the decals off the side of this boat. They really needed replacing anyway and I can do a much better job not have to go around them. This ole boat is turning out even better than I expected it to. Just got the drivers side to knock out after I eat some lunch and for the most part. This boat will be ready for a really good washing and waxing !!

Few pictures of a 24 year ole Pro Craft I am detailing for a friend of mine. First 6 pictures are of what this boat looked like when it was brought to me. Last 6 pictures are of what this boat looks like now. Still have a little work to do inside this boat but other than that. The top cap and fenders are done. Will start on the sides of this boat later today or tomorrow.

Just got a message from another customer that came in 4th place using my Bug Eyed Bangers in the St Jude Tournament. That means 3rd and 4th place were caught on baits I made right here at my house the past couple weeks. Below is the message I got from the guy that came in 4th. His name is Lynn Dickinson. 3rd place was won throwing my spinner baits. Few picture below of what Lynn caught in the St Jude and a couple more of what he caught pre-fishing. Told me he caught an 8.3 on my Bug Eyed Bangers the Friday before the St Jude Tournament.

Just wanted to let you know I fished St Jude Sunday. We locked our motor up @7:25 and didn’t get into another boat until almost 9. Threw those bug eyed bangers for 5 hours and generated 5 bites for 13.48, good enough to finish 4th! Bad Ass bait you make Mr Joey

Knocked these out this morning for a Local Customers that does his own skirts. These are 3/4 oz with big # 6 blades out on the ends. He buys a few of them just about every year from me. Got 5 more to do with Gold Blades out on the ends. Told me in a message last night that he buys from me because mine hold up a lot better than the store bought ones he use to buy.

CONGRATS to Eric Yeager. Won the New Albany Bass Tournament down on the Sardis Lake today with a little over 17 pounds throwing a Flatlands Custom Tackle Spinner Bait. Had Big Fish also !!

Tying up a few of these in a simple Brown/Red Skirt Pattern for a local customer that is fishing the Golden Tit Tournament down on the Dead Sea next weekend. Should finish them today along with finishing the order I have been working on all week for Tackle Warehouse.

Have fished less this year than I have sense I got back into fishing. Just to much going on and hoping I can free up a little time once the St Jude is over with. I think it will be a tough tournament given the lake and water conditions. Suppose to get more rain for 3 or 4 days next week leading up to this Tournament. My prediction is it will take between 13 and 15 pounds to win it.
