Hello Folks: This is a great match for hunters and beginners. On Saturday, October 17th, the Butte Gun Club will be hosting a Rocky Mountain North- Precision R***e Series Match and a DMR Style Gas Gun Match. These will be fun and challenging precision r***e and gas gun matches consisting of 8 stages ranging from 200 to 1400 yards with most targets between 200 and 600 yards and 2-3 MOA in size (DMR Match Only-.223/5.56 gas guns will only shoot targets out to 875 yards). If you are using a lighter hunting r***e, you choose the Sportsman’s division. Stages are close together, with easy walking between stages. We have some new props and courses of fire. The match will be shot from a variety of positions, including a tripod stage, and a bipod stage. Squads will be 8 or less shooters per squad. The Butte Gun Club Range is easily accessible from I-90/ I-15 and is less than 5 minutes off the Interstate. Food and Lodging can be found close by in Butte.
