This one starts fast and gets heavy! Today's workout combines running, rowing or skiing, and sled work in a pyramid format that will challenge both your engine and your legs.

You'll move through 9 rounds of cardio and sled pushes/drags, gradually adding weight to the sled through Round 5 (the "TOP" of the pyramid) before stripping it back down in reverse. The middle rounds are where things get interesting.

Pace the cardio, stay smooth on the sled, and manage your effort as the weight climbs. Enjoy!

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out for Murph at The Body Shop today!

This was our first Murph as The Body Shop…and it was awesome! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better turnout or better energy this morning.

From very first-timers to those who have been doing Murph for years, everyone showed up ready to work hard, support each other, and take a moment to remember what this workout is really about. Murph is bigger than fitness. It’s a chance to honor and remember the men and women who served and sacrificed for our country.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, tackled the workout, cheered others on, or simply came to be part of something meaningful today.

At The Body Shop, we talk a lot about strength…

But today is a reminder that true strength is found in service, sacrifice, and selflessness. The strongest among us are the ones willing to give everything for something bigger than themselves.

Every day, but especially today, we remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. We remember them in the freedoms we live, the families we gather with, and the communities we’re proud to stand beside.

Thank you to those who served, those who sacrificed, and the families who carry that loss forever.

Long endurance grind incoming…

Today, we’ve got a pyramid-style endurance workout that keeps building, peaks at 1000M, and works all the way back down.

This workout is designed to be done on a rower, treadmill or the open road. It is all about pacing, patience, and hanging on when your legs start asking questions. The “easy” sections should feel conversational and controlled, while the fast 100s are just below an all-out sprint. Recover while moving…then hit the gas again.

60% = conversational pace
90% = fast, aggressive effort just below a sprint.

Join us Memorial Day (May 25th) at 9AM as we take on one of the most meaningful workouts of the year in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy and all those who gave their lives in service…”Murph.”

Happy Birthday to Body Shop Co-Owner, Cody!

The Body Shop’s Official Equipment Procurer. Machine Tinkerer. Bench Press Boss. Gym Floor Re-Decorator. Powerlifting Knowledge Nerd. Amateur Accountant.

The guy who somehow keeps the machines running, the numbers meticulous, and still finds time to help you correct your deadlift setup. He’s one of the very, very few humans capable of moving the 150-pound dumbbells off the rack without needing to see the light afterward.

If something is fixed, calibrated, or moved three inches to “make more sense,” there’s a very good chance Cody had something to do with it.

The Body Shop quite literally would not run the same without him. Happy Birthday, Cody!
