Celebrating the timeless wisdom of Wendell Berry.

We note with great sadness the passing this week of Wendell Berry, who was a true inspiration to many of us, both professionally and personally. His thoughtful writings demonstrated that every one of us bears responsibility and has the power to make a difference in the world through our food-system choices.

For those of us who are food and fiber producers, Wendell Berry set an ethical standard and illustrated for the world the honor of a profession that is too little valued. Even as we mourn his loss, we celebrate the light his vast body of writing and speaking shone on truly sustainable agriculture.
