Cross Country information for practice on Wednesday, September 24; Butte Invitational on Thursday, September 25; Dillon Invitational on Saturday, September 26; and Clancy meet on Monday, September 29.

Wednesday, September 24 practice will be at Highland View golf course at 4pm. Parents responsibility to get student|athletes to golf course. Practice should be over around 5.

East cross country pre-season practicing at East at 3:15, Monday, August 25th. Be done by 4-4:15. For new runners: have shorts, shoes and water.
8/26 Tuesday is signup from 3:30-5:30. Run on your own for 20 minutes.
8/27 Wednesday will be Impact Testing immediately after school in the library for 7th graders and new 8th graders to East. We will have a short practice after testing. Done by 4:30.
8/28 Thursday: change and be in room 202 by 3:15. I will talk to student/athletes for a few minutes; we’ll stretch then go for a run. Be done around 4:20
8/29 Friday: no practice. Run on your own for 20 minutes.

Pre-season Cross country for student/athletes entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade will take place:
Monday August 18th at 7:30 am at Hillcrest Elementary on Continental Drive. Practice will be done around 8:15.
Tuesday August 19th at 3:30 at East Middle School. Meet on steps by front door.
Wednesday August 20th. Run on your own for 20 continuous minutes. Thursday August 21st. We will practice at East Middle School at 3:15 pm. Meet on steps by front door.
Friday August 22nd. Run on your own for 20 continuous minutes.

Pre-season Cross country for student/athletes entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade will take place Monday August 11th, Tuesday August 12th and Thursday August 14th next week. We will meet at 7:30 am at Hillcrest Elementary on Continental Drive. Practice will be done between 8:15 and 8:30. Additional information will be given then. Any questions please contact Ken Carver at 406-490-6985. If your student/athlete is not involved with football or volleyball, cross country is a great activity to get involved in. Very low keyed. No cross country practice today, September 23, 2024. Practice Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as normal. Friday’s Mariah’s Mile will qualify as practice.

Cross country meet in Anaconda has been rescheduled for this Friday, September 13. Times are the same with the meet starting at 1 pm. We will practice today by running the halls at East.

East cross country pre-season practicing at East at 3:15 Monday and Tuesday. 3:30 Wednesday and Thursday once kids are in school. Thursday is sign up day also. Friday is impact testing. Meet at main door or come up my room 202 tomorrow. Wednesday change and be in room 202 by 3:20.

Time change for meet in Dillon next Saturday, September 23. Bus leaving at 6:45 am. All athletes were given an informational letter at practice Thursday , September 15.
