Good morning!

I went to Rogers Flea Market in Ohio yesterday with my Wife and picked up 2 unique topwater lures.

After contacting my friend , who knows a thing or 2 about fishing lures, I found out these are NOT the Heddon Lucky 13's I thought they were, but Bass Oreno topwater lures.

Thank you for the information my friend!

Upon doing further research this morning I found out, "if you find a Bass Oreno with painted eyes it is a Gladding-South Bend lure made after 1966. Gladding-South Bend continued to make the Bass Oreno lure until 1982 when Luhr Jensen company acquired the rights to make and sell the entire Oreno line of lures."

Cool finds with a cool history and for $4 each I can't complain!

Good morning!

Follow up from Sunday's Bearded Bass Lures "lure foiling experiment" on this 3.5XD Crankbait. I added some color and clear coated.

I love the results and it's definitely something I'll be doing more of. Creative JUICES ARE FLOWIN!
