Bike race?? In Baltimore?? Well, that just means we gotta party!!

Join us 1813 Falls Rd, to hoot and holler for the racers, and enjoy some pizza, snacks, and drinks. They will be going past the shop fast, but they will go by over and over again. The party will start at 10:30, cheering on the women's race, and last through the men's race until about 3:30. All are welcome! This is not exclusive for the team members.

Falls Rd will be shut down for this, so we encourage any attendees to ride their, as we always do, but those looking for parking may have a bit of a walk.

Mint socks and Lake Shoes. A perfect pair. Two perfect pairs. I love these socks! I love these shoes! My feet take care of me, and I take care of my feet. Italian made socks that feel luxurious on and off the bike, and shoes with a proper wide toe box to give my toes room to spread! (A major cause of foot numbness in cycling is crunching up those toes.) I’ve worn tons of brands of socks, and Mint is my absolute favorite. Just look at those colors! Wash after wash, ride after ride, they hold their shape and they stay up. I have yet to wear through a toe or heel like I do with other brands (you know what I mean). And Lake shoes have the stiffest soles for the best power transfer, of any shoe I’ve worn. And I can’t afford to lose any power.

Mint is also supporting our race team, Baltimore Bicycle Works Racing, with podium prizes for some of our junior girls at Falkorburg!

Also thanks to them for reminding us and the will have a women's race this year!

*Mint is woman owned and operated, by just one woman. The person who answers the phone, and packages the socks to send to me, is the same person. She’s it. And it’s been a pleasure to get to know her over the last several years since meeting her and buying my first pair in 2019 at the Philly Bike Expo.

Tuesdays are for Time Trials.
The weather hasn't always been on our side this season, but we finally got ideal conditions. Yet, no matter how blue the skies are or dry the roads are, none of it could have been done without Nathan and Louisa. We could not run this without their volunteer work. They make it possible for us weirdos to put all our effort out on the road. And they bring snacks!! Thanks to them for running the clock!
As well, a big thanks to our competitors for always bring good vibes and comradery. Its great to see everyone chatting about their rides and cheering each other on. Community is a beautiful thing, and it's built by the smallest of bricks, from a simple "Good ride!" to a crisp high five. It's all done together.
We only have two more TTs left this summer, and we dearly hope you can join us:

Tuesdays are made for Time Trials!!
Come join us in the hills of Baltimore County for a season of testing your mettle against the clock, set a benchmark and see if you can push your fitness, or just ride a bike and hang out. We have snacks!
The course is 14 miles with 1,500 feet of climbing (😲⛰️) through forests and fields. The route is all right turns, startinge on Bulter Rd, just off Falls Rd. First turn is a right onto Dover Rd. Next, right onto Dark Hollow Rd. Right turn on Trenton Rd. Right onto Black Rock Rd. Finally, a right onto Falls Rd. Your finish line is at Stringtown Rd, about 0.6 mile before Veloccino. After you finish, roll back to café for some snacks and hang while everyone finishes up.
We hope to see you this summer for some great roads. Ride well!

Join us!!! We're having our Beginner Friendly Monday Recovery Ride today. Come dip your toe in a group ride, maybe see the city in a way you've never done before, and burn off some of those Memorial Weekend Hot Dogs. If you miss us today, we'll be back next month!

Our first week of group rides starts Monday with our recovery ride, an open for all ride great for shaking the dust off those legs and spins the tires.
Thursday brings the return of the Bumpy Belt Loop! A ride with more zest on the pace for those looking to get the legs burning and the lungs pumping.
All rides start from the Falls Road at 6pm. We hope to see your beautiful faces join us for bikes this year!

Tonight is the very last WTF-NB of the year. We’ll be starting and finishing at at 5:30. No-drop, 12-14 miles, and dinner afterwards is on us! Hope you all can make it!

We’re pleased to announced that this coming Saturday will be our very first Co-Op Ride!

With the racing season winding down, we want to spend the off-season doing some more community-based and all-skill-level rides, starting with this! We’ll be touring various Co-Ops throughout the city, starting with coffee at and ending with ice cream at location, with a handful of great stop between!
