Saving the best for last, our president, Coach Jay! Let’s get to know him 👇

1. What made you want to coach?
“I’ve always believed in giving back to the game and the people in it. Coaching gives me the opportunity to help young athletes grow - not just in their sport, but as individuals. Being part of that development is something I take a lot of pride in.” 🇺🇸

2. How long have you been involved with this program (or coaching overall)?
“Not long enough as of yet! I have been part of this program for 17 years.”

3. What’s your favorite part about working with the kids?
“Seeing their growth, both on and off the field. Watching their confidence build, seeing them overcome challenges and knowing you played a small part in that is what makes it all worth it!” 💪🏻

1. What made you want to coach?
“I love football!” 🏈

2. How long have you been involved with this program (or coaching overall)?
“I have been coaching for a total of 5 years.”

3. What’s your favorite part about working with the kids?
“Teaching the kids and having fun.”

4. Favorite game day hype song or tradition?
“I like to listen to anything heavy metal.” 🎸 🤘🏼

5. One fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
“I was a great skateboarder in my youth.”🛹

Next in our coaches line up is Coach Zach! Let’s get to know him 👇

1. What made you want to coach?
“I got into coaching because of Chris Vicari and Paul Ritchie, but I like teaching the kids the game of football and to make an impact on the future generation.”

2. How long have you been involved with this program (or coaching overall)?
“I started coaching flag football in 2019 and have been coaching in general since 2015.” 💪🏻

3. What’s your favorite part about working with the kids?
“Getting to see their skills develop as the years go by and being part of the family culture that football brings.” 🩶🌪️

4. Favorite game day hype song or tradition?
“We ready by Archie Eversole.” 🎶

5. One fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
“I never played sports growing up and only started watching them in 2010.”

Here’s how it works 👇🏻

🏈 Each year, local businesses donate funds towards the “game day” shirts our football players wear under their jerseys.

“I enjoy teaching young athletes the fundamentals of football.” 🏈

2. How long have you been involved with this program (or coaching overall)?
“5 years in BAMFL.” 💪🏻

3. What’s your favorite part about working with the kids?
“Watching them mature into respectful young adults.”

4. Favorite game day hype song or tradition?
“Metallica - Enter Sandman.” 🎶🎸

“Jack Lambert used to sign football cards for me before my midget games.”

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our BAMFL Bingo & Basket Raffle Night! From our players and families to our volunteers, supporters, and community members — your support truly means the world to our program.

Congratulations to all of our basket raffle and bingo winners! We hope you love your prizes and had as much fun as we did! 🧺✨

We also want to give a very special thank you to all of the businesses and families who generously donated baskets, prizes, and support for this event. Your kindness and generosity helped make this night such a huge success.

Because of this amazing community, we had a successful year and are able to continue creating opportunities and memories for our young athletes. We couldn’t do it without you! 💙💛
