Today marks the 20th anniversary of the passing of our Tai Chi school founder, Master Bob Sbarge (left)... seen here with dear friend and fellow-Master, John Scattaretico, on promotion day in 2005. We respect Sifu Bob's teaching style and Tai Chi dedication by saying 'Namaste.'

Today we remember our founder and first Sifu, Master Robert (Bob) Sbarge, who began teaching Tai Chi in 1993 in Auburn and taught it until his passing on July 15, 2005. What he started, expanded to 11 weekly classes at four different locations (pre-COVID). His legacy continues today with the lineage Family Tree, classes in Auburn, Angola, and Butler, and with a book written about his teachings (Mastering The Moments). May love, pleasant memories, and peaceful thoughts be with us!

This Saturday, April 27, is World Tai Chi and Qigong Day starting at 10 a.m. in our time zone. Due to my knee replacement surgery last month I did not plan an event for our school being uncertain of how fast I would recover. So this year I’m asking you to take time and do some qigong or your Tai Chi form between 10 and 11 a.m. this Saturday… be a part of the wave of energy coming into our time zone from the east and continue the wave to the west. Enjoy!

Get your qi on… advanced classes start again this week. Monday at The Butler Public Library and Thursday at the Angola Carnegie library. Both classes start at 5:45 until 7 pm.
