Burnsville Blaze families—

One of the best parts of our program is the example set by our Burnsville High School players! They give back in countless ways, and now our younger athletes have the chance to learn directly from them at the Burnsville Blaze Girls Softball Camp! If your player dreams of being a Blaze varsity athlete someday, this is a great opportunity to learn from those already wearing the jersey.

BHS Girls Softball coaches will put camp participants ages 7-13 through throwing, fielding and hitting drills. Campers will receive a t-shirt!In the event of rain (or other inclement weather), play will go on in Gym F190.

Looks like 8U Gold brought home something sweet from the Spartan Spectacular this weekend too! 🍩🥎

Between games, the team made a stop at Dunkin’ to refuel, share some laughs, and make a few more memories together. Judging by the smiles, the donuts were a hit!

Softball is about more than what happens between the lines—it’s also about the friendships, team bonding, and moments like these that make a season special.

The Blaze turned up the intensity at the Spartan Spectacular this weekend, battling their way to a Bronze Division Championship and bringing home the hardware. Congratulations to our Spartan Spectacular Bronze Division Champions! 🥇

Congratulations to 8U Black, who picked up a couple of memorable wins last week, and who followed it up with a hard-fought tie on the field yesterday!

As the summer goes on, their bats are getting louder, the defense is growing more confident, and the players are starting to trust themselves and each other in big moments. Most importantly, they're having fun, competing hard, and showing just how much they've learned this season!

🔥 12U Black brought home a 3rd place finish at the BASH this weekend! 🔥

This group battled all weekend long and came away with hardware to show for it!

We’re also incredibly grateful for the support from several 12U Gold players and two of our Burnsville High School Softball seniors who spent part of their weekend cheering them on from the sidelines!

🔥 Fueling the Fire at Wayzata Warmup🔥

Burnsville Blaze 10U Black put together a strong weekend at the Wayzata Warm-Up Tournament, finishing pool play a perfect 3-0 and earning a spot in the Platinum Bracket.

The Blaze opened the weekend with wins over Spring Lake Park Red (14-4), Wayzata Navy (15-0), and Edina Sting (6-4), combining timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, solid defense, and strong pitching performances throughout pool play.

On Sunday, Blaze Black battled Lakeville Thunder Black in Platinum Bracket play before falling 8-4. Unfortunately, storms rolled in and the remainder of the tournament was canceled, leaving final bracket standings unfinished.

With championship play washed out, Blaze Black finished the weekend tied for 3rd place in the Platinum Bracket after an undefeated run through pool play.

The team showed tremendous growth throughout the tournament, scoring 39 runs across their three pool play games while receiving contributions up and down the lineup. The offense stayed aggressive, the defense made the tough plays, and the pitchers continued to attack the zone against quality competition.

Not the ending anyone wanted, but plenty to be proud of as this team continues to build momentum heading into the heart of the summer season! 🖤

Blaze 12U Gold battled their way to a 3rd place finish in the Delano Dazzler Gold Bracket this weekend, going 3-2 and scoring 42 runs along the way.

After a tough loss to Tonka Montgomery in pool play, the girls earned a rematch with 3rd place on the line—and came away with a hard-fought 6-5 win. Talk about a response!

Wins over Monticello, Delano Black, and Tonka Montgomery helped secure the podium finish, but what stood out most was the resilience, energy, and teamwork this group showed all weekend long… and maybe these dance moves, too. 🪩💃
