Bell Ringer Trail Run The Bell Ringer Trail Run takes place on Saturday, December 13th at Montgomery Bell State Park. The course contains multiple uphill and downhill sections.

The Bell Ringer 50k/25k route takes place on Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, TN. It features running on one of the best trail networks in the Nashville area. This 31+ mile race gives area ultrarunners a close-to-home venue for a trail ultra and will showcase the tremendous natural resources of the Tennessee State Park system for visitors. The terrain is of moderate difficulty, providing a cha

llenge to runners, but not too hard for first-timers. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Friends of Montgomery Bell State park to help raise funds to supoort Montgomery Bell State Park. The Friends of Montgomery Bell State Park are a private, nonprofit group of dedicated community members who support, protect, and promote Montgomery Bell State Park.

Through donations and memberships, they help enhance programs, preserve the park's beauty, and ensure it remains a special place for generations to come. This friend's group hosts the Bell Ringer every year at Montgomery Bell, which is their largest fundraiser.

Drop bags are allowed at the Bell Ringer!

We'll have bins set up in the conference center before the start to send bags to Aid Station 3 (mile 8.8, 15.3, and 29.8), and each time you pass through you can choose to keep your items there or send them back to the conference room.

The Bell Ringer is the largest fundraiser for the Friends of Montgomery Bell State Park, a 501(c)(3) non profit that helps preserve and enhance Montgomery Bell State Park. Funds support programs like Junior Ranger Camp for individuals with special needs, campground events, ranger-led hikes, and more throughout the year.
