Hadley has made the Oregon National Wrestling Team by winning Oregon State Titles in Folk style, Freestyle and Greco Roman. Please help donate any way that you can. We are trying to help her reach her goals as she will be representing Burns on one of the biggest stages wrestling has to offer for High School athletes!!

Information in the flyer we have also have attached a Venmo account. All proceeds will help with travel and other expenses!

Burns wrestlers have been on the road the last two weeks bringing some hardware back to Harney County. Cannon took second in Reno and Hadley just won a spot on the Oregon National team winning the Freestyle state championships today. We also had some young Hilanders bringing home some hardware from the State tournament today!

Girls got it done today at the District Tournament. We came home with Three District Champs!! Two Outstanding Wrestler Awards and Coral is coming home with some stitches!

The girls made the the trip to Silverton to take on the Jack Berger Invitational. Was a perfect day for the ladies as they all came home champions! Some good wrestling this weekend in preparation for the district tournament!

Your Hilanders boys are the Bank of Eastern Oregon Champs and the two girls that wrestled dominated their brackets!! Megan Weil was also selected as the Outstanding Wrestler!

Your Burns Hilanders spent the Weekend at Sherwood High School competing in the Reser Tournament of Champions. An invite only tournament that represents the top 24 teams throughout the state of Oregon.

Tommy Winn entered the tournament unseeded as he has been faking injuries the last two seasons (JK). Tommy eventually beat the 4 seed, 5 seed and the 3 seed in route to a THIRD place finish. He took down multiple state placers and a 4A state champion!

Cannon Kemper prevailed as a champ beating the returning 5A state champion in the finals in one of the most intense matches we have got to witness.

Joe Weil dominated the field pinning multiple state placers and taking home the Gold. Joe also took home the most dominating wrestler performance of the tournament!!

Your Hilanders finished 7th out of 24 of the toughest teams in Oregon!

On the JV side we had three kids in the finals and two other placers!
