⚽️ The league is over

Last weekend, the Juba Star FC played the final game of the championship against the Last Resort.

Congratulations to the Last Resort team 👏🏿

We may have lost the game, but we didn’t lose what makes Juba Star special. We have accomplished so much this season. We worked as a team, as a big family, with every one of us contributing to this journey.

Thank you to everyone who spent this summer with us. Thank you for being one big community 💚

Juba Star FC is still here and we have big plans ahead of us.

🔥⚽️ ON TO THE FINALS

Yesterday JUBA STAR FC advanced to the finals after winning a game against GORILLAS FC 3 : 1

Thank you for the game, Fc Gorillas VT 🤝

We earned our spot in the finals, and every one of us played a part in making it happen. We are enjoying this moment, but we also remember that we’re not finished yet. We have one more game and one more job to complete 🏆

Thank you to all the supporters who were by our side the whole game. We will see you in the finals! 💚

⚽️ Today was the last session of the Soccer Workshop this season.

Sheekhnoor M Bulle , a coach of the workshop, has shared his thoughts as it comes to an end 💭

“Looking at these smiles reminds me that giving back to our community is not an option — it is an obligation.
Someone once invested their time, energy, and love into us when we were children. They didn’t have to, but they believed in us anyway. Because of them, we learned, we grew, and we became who we are today.
Now it’s our turn.

Some of the kids I coached years ago are now fathers and mothers. Today, I have the privilege of coaching this new generation. One day, these little boys and girls will grow up, raise families of their own, and I hope they’ll remember what it felt like to have someone believe in them.

That’s how a strong community is built — not by what we keep, but by what we give away. Time. Love. Guidance. Opportunity.
There is no greater feeling than seeing a child smile, grow in confidence, and dream bigger because someone cared enough to show up” ⚽️🙌🏿✊🏾

With that said, this is not the last session. Juba will be there for kids again and again. More workshop sessions are coming!

Both teams came prepared and put the efforts despite the rainy weather, which makes each game on the turf field more challenging. It was a game worth watching.
