Alamance Fine Arts Academy We are a Christian fine arts studio offering classes in art, theatre, voice, and dance. We also offer Voice lessons, Visual Art, and Theatre.

Our mission is to honor Christ by inspiring excellence and cultivating worship. We offer several genres of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Liturgical, Modern, Clogging, Character, and more. Our classes are offered on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings from September through May. During the summer we offer many summer camps.

"Acro", short for acrobatics, uses strength & flexibility to perform gymnastic based skills & tricks. 🤸🏼‍♀️ This summer, we are offering six week sessions for both beginners and dancers working to advance their skill set and "level up!"

Our acro instructor, Ms. Laney Lee, is Acrobatic Arts certified and is ready to help your dancer learn & grow in preparation to join a year long class with us in the fall!

Auditions for AFAA's Premier Dance Company and Senior Ballet Company are THIS Saturday, June 20th! 👯‍♀️✨️ Want to learn more about our company classes & how YOU can become a part of our pre-professional track at AFAA? Keep reading ⬇️

⭐️Premier Dance Company⭐️
PDC is the newest addition to our pre-professional dance track. Dancers will have the opportunity to travel to dance conventions and exhibitions throughout the year perform and take classes that will further their training!

🩰Senior Ballet Company🩰
Ballet Company offers students the opportunity to add a third ballet class time to their week in addition to technique and pointe/pre-pointe classes. Dancers will spend time in company class focusing on classical variations and choreography that will be performed several times throughout the year.

This Sunday, Ms. Nicole, Ms. Anna, and Ms. Elizabeth completed a virtual training to become certified in Level 3 of Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)! 🩰💪🏼✨️

PBT is a proven conditioning method to develop strength, alignment & technique in dancers and has been an incredible addition to our ballet curriculum at the studio! We have seen our dancers grow in leaps and bounds in their abilities, due to an increased focus on strength and mobility through PBT work.

Our ballet instructors began with a trip to Atlanta, GA for the in-person Level 1 training in the summer of 2023, followed up with Level 2 in spring of 2024, and now have completed Level 3! We are thrilled to be able to share this new knowledge with our students, especially in our upcoming Summer Technique Intensive and Ballet Company summer sessions!
