Surge Ultimate is a competitive mixed team based out of the Inland Northwest. Surge provides an outlet and opportunity for Ultimate athletes who want to push themselves and compete at the highest level, while acknowledging life outside of ultimate. We are committed to providing opportunities to learn, grow and compete, while building community in the Inland Northwest. We invest i

Surge aims to create a sustainable, competitive mixed program in the Inland Northwest that upholds the spirited ideals in which Ultimate is rooted. With this foundation, Surge aims to be a catalyst for ongoing growth of the sport of ultimate, and all it embodies, in our local communities, and the collective Inland Northwest. We strive to build an inclusive and spirited environment that is uplifting and positive for all people we interact with on and off the field, and we are committed to the support of gender and racial equity.

Incoming Captain's Bio:

"Hiyya! My name is Alishia and this will be my first year captaining for Surge! Watch out because I am a sniper from across the field, not because I am a handler, but because I have unrelenting faith in my teammates. I started playing ultimate 8 years ago with the UW crowd (pretty hypie). Outside of ultimate, you may find me out on the trails foraging for mushrooms or clipping into rock faces. Either on or off the field, I hope to share many new experiences with the team this season. Cheers!"

**Captain intros coming in hot!**

Hello! My name is Erol and I'm excited to be captaining again this year for Surge! On the field, I love a good hammer, yeeting hucks, and trying to keep up with the youths. Off the field, I enjoy puns, eating all the chocolate in my house, and being a pushover for my cats. This year, I'm looking forward to Surge continuing to grow and not dying of smoke inhalation.

Last Weekend was a blast! Thanks for joining us for 2023 Tri-Cities Tryouts. We are looking forward to seeing the rest of you at Spokane Tryouts. The sun is going to be blazing so hydrate well beforehand. See you 4/29 @ 12:30! We will set up a tent at Dwight Merkel Field 4/6.

The stickers are in! Our lovely Tait Algayer has designed for you these incredible iridescent surge stickers to shine through the mess of a Nalgene you may have. If your water bottle happens to have avoided this PNW craze, then this is the sticker to kick you off. Each sticker is $4 and contributes to our 2023 fundraising efforts. Please make payments to -Algayer on Venmo and receive your very own sticker at tryouts at the end of this month.
