The ICF requires:

1. At least 10 hours of mentor coaching.

2. Completed over at least three months.

3. At least 3 of those hours one-on-one.

4. Up to 7 hours in a group of no more than 10 coaches.

5. A mentor who is ICF credentialed and holds a Mentor Coach Specialization.
