Calling all short season spring/summer league bowlers!!!!

For those of you who have been working hard on improving your game and don't want to let it all go to the wayside, to those who are looking to get into a league next fall but want to maybe ease into it because you've never been part of a league before, to those who want a fun activity to do so you can spend time with family and friends: we can help.

We are bringing back our 3 popular spring/summer leagues and they are open to EVERYONE to join.

Starting Monday April 24th at 7pm, is the Sport Have-a-Ball League. This league is meant to challenge you each week as there will be different types of sport/challenge oil patterns put out. These are not your week to week league house patterns. This league runs 14 weeks and everyone will get a new ball at the end of the season. You will have several different balls to choose from. You can sign up individually or put a team of your own together (4 people max).

Starting Tuesday April 25th at 7pm, we have our Brewers Baseball league. Teams are 3 people strong, we bowl for 10 weeks and we take the league to a Brewers game in July. We tailgate prior to the game, adults get prize money the day of and any of our youth bowlers will earn scholarship money.

The Junior/Adult league begins May 10th at 7pm and runs for 8 weeks. Teams consist of up to 2 youth bowlers and 2 adult bowlers. If you have younger kids, then you can sign up to bowl 2 games each week with bumpers. This is a great way to introduce the littles to the game. Older kids can sign up for 3 games without bumpers. We throw a pizza/pop party the last night of league.

All of these leagues are non-sanctioned.

Wis. High School State tournament is THIS WEEKEND!

Please join us in wishing the BHS/CCHS Boys Varsity Team GOOD LUCK as they head to Dale's Weston Lanes in Wausau tomorrow to compete!

BHS Senior Tim Lois and BHS Junior Joseph Leonard also qualified for the State Singles portion of the tournament. They begin their qualifying round Friday afternoon, March 3rd.

We also want to wish all of the District 3A teams and individuals GOOD LUCK at State as they are ALL representing the Kenosha/Racine area.

Parents and kids, please read this and understand what he is saying. Older kids, the littles look up to you. Be aware someone is always watching. Be the good role model they take after, not the opposite.
I have zero problem pulling a child who is acting inappropriate off the lanes and having a serious conversation with them about their behavior. Don't believe me? I have a few current young adult bowlers who were part of our youth program who this happened to. It may have taken several episodes, but they eventually got the message.
When you are on the lanes (at ANY bowling center) you not only are out there representing yourself (um, college coaches may be in the audience) but you are also representing your home bowling center and your school. Don't be the one to have the bad reputation as someone who is uncoachable and disrespectful.

We are a little over 2 weeks away from the start of the bowling season. If you haven't signed your bowler(s) up yet for the first session, please reach out to me to do so. Sept. 14th is the first day of league. I need to have all of the registrations in by that Wednesday, Sept. 7th so I can get everything entered onto the computer system BEFORE league starts.

Calling anyone who loves to volunteer! We are in great need of awesome people to help on the Saturday's our Special Olympics athletes are here to practice. You don't need bowling experience to help!

If you can sit at a computer scoring console, help direct the athletes when it's their turn to bowl and push a button every once in a while on a small keypad, then you are qualified to help us out!
You would need to be here from 12:45p-3pmish each Saturday from Sept. 10th - Oct. 15th. Do you have someone in your family in need of volunteer hours for school or community service? This is the perfect way to get them. You'll be helping the athletes and yourself.

T&C Junior League Bowling registration is 2 weeks away!

If your child(ren) is currently a member of our Wednesday High School and/or Saturday Morning Youth leagues, please put down Mon. Aug. 1st on your calendar. That night, Coach Mary will be here at T&C from 5p-8p to collect your registration forms and payment.

Youth registration is a one time $35.00 fee and covers sanctioning, bowling shirt and more. If you are on our email list, then you've already received the registration form. Print it out and fill it out ahead of time. Bring it along with your payment to T&C on Aug. 1st. between 5p-8p. Can't make it that night? Then call 262-763-7333 and speak to Theresa for alternate arrangements. You can also mail it to 264 S. Pine St., Burlington, WI 53105.
