Congratulations to our teammate Ava on her commitment to continue her education and athletic career. Ava signed on to play softball at Indian Hills Community College in the fall. Ava you make us so proud!

We are very proud of our team Captains, Mylee and Daphne for being selected to the All Hawkeye Girls Basketball Team with Mylee being Player of the Year.

Mylee earned All-State, All-District, and All-Conference honors, and set six school records during her four years. She averaged 24.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 3.1 steals and 1.3 blocks and shot 42.9 percent from the field.

Daphne earned All-District and All-Conference honors. She averaged 18 points, 8.8 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 3.1 steals and 0.6 blocks and shot 53.5 percent from the field.

This season Daphne and Mylee helped the Grayhounds to a 12-9 record, including 7-3 and a tie for second place in the Southeast Conference.

Last season they helped lead the Grayhounds to a 16-6 record including 9-1 in conference to earn the title of first ever Conference Champs for Grayhounds Girls Basketball.

Their freshman season they helped end the Grayhounds’ 40 game losing streak in their first varsity game .
