Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude as we wrap up our annual In-House Summer Dance Convention! The last two days were packed with outstanding choreographers, new styles, lots of lessons, tons of talent, and of course, SO much dancing! Beyond what happened in class, our dancers strengthened their bond, supported one another, and continued to build the kind of friendships, trust, and encouragement that make our studio one big family. Here’s to Competition Season 2026-2027! It’s going to be a great year at SDC. ❤️

Please help us give a warm welcome to Miss. Taylor Cocco, who will be joining the SDC staff this Fall! We are SO excited to have her and can’t wait for everyone to meet her. Read more about Miss.Taylor below. 💕

Taylor is a dancer to her core and has been teaching for the past 14 years. She earned her degree in the Arts as a Dance Major from Dean College and is currently the head of the Dance Department at Essex Tech High School in Danvers, Ma. Also at Essex Tech, Taylor started the first ever hip hop dance team competing within the UDA and MSAA programs  Prior to this, she was an Adjunct Professor at Dean College where she taught Jazz dance within the school of the Arts. She is an active member of Dance Masters of New England where she continues to educate herself in this beautiful artform so she can be the best teacher possible for her students.

In her professional career, Taylor was an animation performer for the Boston location of Cirque du Soleil : Totem and a dance demonstrator for “Radio Disney”. Additionally, Taylor founded the first ever semi-pro dance team for the Lowell Spinners – which is the class A affiliate to the Boston Red Sox. She loves sharing her passion for dance with her students and is excited for many years to come!
