Is there someone from your past still quietly running your present?
I was thinking today about how sneaky old baggage can be.
When we’re younger, we’re so busy building careers, raising families, and keeping all the plates spinning that we don't always notice what we’re collecting along the way.
As we step into the second half of life—when the house gets quieter and the external noise settles—that weight starts showing up.
It usually shows up as a crack in our polished exterior. A sudden wave of regret. An old resentment. A quiet sense of self-doubt.
And most of us try to side-step, ignore, deny, and repress those cracks as fast as we can.
This is the truth I share and explain with those I mentor and guide: wherever there’s a crack, Spirit will always invade.
These cracks are not a sign of failure—they are an opening. It’s where Grace breaks through our defenses to pull us into deep, internal transformation.
This goes far beyond basic mental health or self-help tips; it is an encounter with the soul.
If you take a quiet, honest look in the mirror today, where is Spirit trying to break through for you?
• Is it a lack of self-forgiveness? That nagging thread of regret whispering, "You should have known better"?
• Is it forgiveness of another? Holding onto an old grievance because letting go feels like letting them off the hook?
• Is it a childhood wound or a parent’s flaw? Still waiting for an apology or closure that’s never coming?
It’s so easy to channel that internal friction outward—into political outrage, pointing fingers, and projecting our hurts onto the world around us. It’s exhausting, and it keeps us stuck in the ego's traps.
Real soul work isn't about fixing the outside world. It’s about having the courage to lean into that crack and allow Spirit to do its work through three radical shifts:
✨ Radical Grace for who you were back then.
✨ Radical Forgiveness for those who couldn't give you what you needed.
✨ Radical Acceptance of your story—cracks, scars, and all.
Something Special Coming in January…
I’m currently putting the finishing touches on a brand-new lecture & learn series launching this January.
Grounded in a psycho-spiritual perspective, we’ll be exploring how to use the Enneagram as a diagnostic tool to uncover hidden shadow qualities, alongside Centering Prayer to deeply transform those shadows into peace and freedom.
If you’re ready for a journey of radical self-transformation, keep your eyes open—dates, details, and registration info are coming soon!
In the meantime, sit with this question today:
👉 "If you let Spirit step into your crack today, what’s one piece of old regret or resentment you’d finally be willing to lay down?"
