Today is Memorial Day, a day of remembrance to honor and mourn those who have died in service to the United States. Originally, the observance was called Decoration Day from the early tradition of decorating graves of the fallen with flowers. Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May.⁠

Course is playing very nice and is all dried out. But the leafy green stuff is growing, currently around two inches in most places and welll marked at this time.

Headed to North Beach? 🏖️ Know before you go:

🚫 There is no parking at North Beach lot until May 1
🚧 Do not park in the Burlington High School lots -- you could get TOWED
🅿️ Try Leddy Park and Oakledge Park for parking options
🚌 Consider taking the Bus
😎 Plan to carry out everything you bring in
🚲️ Utilize the Bike Path, but be mindful of other users and make room for passing!
