At first glance, it looks like pure fun—and it is! 😄
Children laughing, smiling, and playing what might look like a game of “tag with a pool noodle.”
But look a little closer…
What’s really happening in this photo is something powerful.
Our students are learning Knifehand Blocks—a vital safety skill designed to protect the body and create space when needed.
Why is this important?
Because skills that aren’t practiced won’t be there instinctively when they matter most. We teach safety in a way that’s age-appropriate, engaging, and fun, so kids learn without fear—and with confidence.
In this single activity, students are building:
✔️ Muscle memory
✔️ Discipline by lining up like a black belt
✔️ Self-control by staying focused and respecting others
✔️ Respect by listening to instructors and helpers
And this is just ONE activity from ONE class!
