JACKIE ❤️‍🔥

These pictures are 11 days apart..

Jackie came to me unhappy with the fact that progress had been stalling for a while.

This girl works her butt off and literally is a macro queen 👑 so my initial thought was there’s no reason why she shouldn’t be progressing.

We changed her workouts up, cardio AND food from what she was doing before and since starting we are already down 7lb and you can definitely tell!
(Even if she hated me the first week of new workouts 😂)

I am so proud of her
AND
she is also so proud of HERSELF. Which makes this process 10x better 👏🏻💯

To think this is just the start, blows my mind. I am so happy for this girl to make the progress she deserves with all of her hard-work and dedication. ❤️ you can literally see her progressing physically and mentally.

JUST WAIT. 😎 all I have got to say.

Why is it so hard for some people to stick with a fitness plan?
People will say it’s a lack of motivation.

Motivation is the first step - Motivation is what sets the goal. It’s the desire and willingness/want to change but what happens when all motivation is lost?

SELF-DISCIPLINE COMES TO PLAY.
Self disciple is what puts in the work to accomplish the goals you set when you were feeling motivated.

Self-discipline is what makes you get up at 4 am to get ready for a morning workout instead of pushing snooze for 30 more minutes.
Self-discipline is what makes you stay true to your goals even on the days you feel like doing nothing.

“Motivation is fleeting; discipline is permanent”

Self-discipline is something you can LEARN. Don’t let your feelings impede your goals.

You’re tired? Okay you’ll feel better after you get up and workout.
You’re don’t want to go to the gym? Okay well once you’re there you’ll have an amazing workout.
You aren’t feeling motivated enough? Build some discipline and do it anyways.

TIPS TO BUILD SELF-DISCIPLINE:
* fit your workout into your schedule every day. Just like your job, you’re discipline enough to wake up and go to that because it’s an every day scheduled routine.
* Take it slow. Don’t make huge goals/plans right away. Start small and work up from there.
* Don’t wait for it to feel right. The longer you wait the longer it’s gonna take.
* Write down your goals - maybe even on a time line so you have something you’re working towards.
* Prioritize yourself.
* Hire a coach to help you.

PRACTICE.
FAIL.

I want to be more creative on this page and post different tips and meal ideas etc.

So here’s a start!

I started my “job” in January and never did I expect to love it as much as I do. I have met so many amazing people, and it is literally the best feeling being apart of someone’s fitness journey. I have learned so much from training so many different people with different goals.

Even though one persons goal may be different than yours, I have ONE MAIN GOAL for all of my clients. And that is to turn this into a lifestyle. Once you have realized that this is not a quick process and things do not happen over night - the real progress kicks in. Physically AND mentally.

I am seriously so thankful for every single one of my clients - past and present.

If I could tell anyone one thing - it would be go after what you want. I honestly didn’t think that I would get any clients when I started and no one would believe in me because I am definitely one of the younger trainers, but I think my clients hard work and my expertise speaks for itself.

Believe in yourself, and put in the work for what you want - even if you don’t believe in yourself. You won’t know unless you try, and you can’t fail unless your try.

It’s insane what a program fit to your goals can do for you!

Kiley came to me about two weeks ago, 4 sessions in and were already growing.

Mind muscle connection is SO important and that has been our main focus since starting.

Sure you can add more weight and lift heavy but if you aren’t feeling the movement in the right area then you need to reassess.

This is why it is so important to have a coach who listens and ask questions.

* We’re already building a solid connection with her glutes - actually feeling the movements
* AND these pictures show how hard this girl works. 4 sessions. Night and day difference.

Today was Sara’s 100th workout since starting with Empower Personal Training!

& I think it’s safe to say we’ve made some gains since then 🔥👑

My favorite thing about this is watching people gain confidence in themselves. Not just physically - with how they look - but mentally too and just knowing that you can do things you never thought you could.

When she first started she was always so drained from work but she would NEVER miss a session. Always pushing through that point mentally, which most people can’t do.

I’ve literally watched this girl become addicted to the gains, and it’s my favorite thing ever 😂

I am so proud of you Sara ❤️
