Bonds Swimming Developing Smart, Happy Swimmers @ BondsSwimming! Swim Lessons all ages, focusing on children under 10 years of age. Scheduled at your & instructor's best time.

Classes: M/W or T/Th
Small groups of 4 students, semi-private classes offered for 2-3 students. Groups Ages 3 years and older,
Semi-Private Lessons: 24 months and older
Baby/Toddler & Me Classes: 4 months to 28 months

For All Students, we are currently placing new students for group lessons starting classes in March of each year. We start scheduling the summer session in January of each year.

When you are given a time slot, we will mail or link you to the Release/Registration. If we do not receive it back in a timely manner, you risk losing your spot to the next person requesting that time slot. Group: ratio 4/1 $300.oo per student for 8 lessons, 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday. Private 1:1 is $150.oo for 1 - 20 minute class, classes will be scheduled to meet time needs of teacher and student. Coming to your home pool the cost is $175.oo for 1 - 20 minute class. Baby & Me: 4 students/parents per class, $300.oo for 8 classes

Home pool lessons: We can schedule for classes at your backyard pool (must be within a 30 minute drive of Home Pool) HOME POOLS: if you have a home pool in the South Ft. Worth, Arlington, Mansfield, Crowley & Burleson area we can schedule at our home for 8 or 12 classes of 20 minute lessons $1,200 for 8 lessons, $1,800 for 12 lessons. 1 student per class. The younger the children the more weeks will be required to see the results we expect from our Program. We do not schedule one class, they are in increments of 4 class minimal for students 3 & older. Classes sold in 8, 12 can be scheduled for learning to swim. Coming to your home the cost is 175.oo per lesson. e
Morning: 10:30-11:00, 11:15-11:45, 12:00-12:30
Afternoon: 2:00-2:30, 2:45-3:15, 3:30-4:00, 4:30-5:00 & 5:30-6:00

Great info! Also to add, have a designated Water Watcher who watches the children and a smart/safe/wait spot. Where your child waits until permission is given to go into the pool.

"Most people think swimming only trains the arms and legs…
but water can actually change how your eyes and brain work together. 🏊‍♂️
When you swim, your eyes constantly lose stable visual reference points because the body is rotating, the water surface is moving, and your head position keeps changing.
To avoid losing balance, the brain is forced to improve something called:
spatial orientation — your ability to understand where your body is in space.
That means during swimming, the brain is continuously recalculating:
• body position
• direction
• balance
• movement timing
all in real time.
This is one reason many swimmers develop unusually strong body awareness and coordination compared to many land-based sports."

Quick reminder with Memorial Day next weekend: Please don’t expect your child to jump into the pool this Memorial Day Weekend and swim just like they did at the end of last summer!
Children grow a lot over the winter - often 2-3 inches taller and several pounds heavier. The swim skills they learned last year were built for their smaller body. Even though some muscle memory is still there, their arms and legs are now longer, their center of gravity has changed, and the wiring from their brain to their muscles has to adjust to this new, bigger body!
We strongly recommend a refresher course for children age 6 & older. For younger children it is especially important to keep taking regular swim lessons!
