Went to Taylor Park RC Raceway and raced the Summer Showdown. It was a hot one but even tho it was hot the track was pretty darn fast. I Ran 10.5 Sprint, Outlaw Sprint, and Late Model.

Late Model: I was trying some new things and the car wasn’t bad was practicing with the Quasispeed tires and they weren’t bad I pulled the car during the 2nd round just didn’t want to tear car up and get in anyone’s way.
The 7.0 Phoenix Mod Team Exalt motor was plenty and I ran the 8500mah XR**ed battery and it had plenty of power and gave some extra weight when needed.

Outlaw Sprint: I took my wingless car and added some wings and put in a 7.0 Phoenix Mod motor and the car was fast just needed more chances to try some things. I ended up finishing 4th in the B main after a small mess up with traffic.

10.5 Sprint: Man this car has been good lately and was able to get my 10.5 Phoenix silver spec Specialized motor with the 6400mah XR**ed battery up towards the front and started the main in 3rd position. Had a good battle with Tim Davis for the first several laps and was able to get around him and then Lj Rowan and Thomas Andrew Kuter got around me and I had to play catch up and was able to get around them both and finish 2nd behind a really fast Dillon. Talent in a Bottle kept my Raw Speed Inc Radar SS rears and Stage 2 SS fronts hooked up all day.
Thank you again to everyone that helps keep my program running and to all my friends at the track that make this hobby fun.

Went to Taylor Park RC and ran midget and 10.5 Sprint and the night was pretty dang fun.
Midget was ok still need to find speed gonna try gearing changes and some other small changes. Ran the X Rated 6400 7.4hv packs and love them they are incredible and hold the power all the way to the end of the run and of course as always the hb110 servos.

My Customworks 10.5 was amazing had some good heat races and was able to TQ and start the main and about 21 laps in had a issue with a lapped car and gave Thomas Andrew Kuter a chance to pass me and then with one more bobble wasn’t able to catch him at the end. But of course it’s always fun to race with Tom. With the Silver Spec Specialized 10.5 Phoenix Mod from Team Exalt car was flying and paired with the Xr**ed 6400 battery it was a great combo. Also ran Raw Speed Inc Radar super soft rears and stage 2 super soft fronts. With Talent in a Bottle as tire sauce tires were kept gripped to the track.

Last week ran the house car from Lj Rowan and did some testing for him at the RC Pro Series car got put together in 20 mins and was able to TQ and didn’t have a great main and finished 3rd. Car was good motor was crazy it just shows that RC Chili Bowl should be pretty fun again this upcoming year.

Took a trip to Yukon, OK, and ran the 2024 SC Mod Shootout. Being that I don’t have anymore SC vehicles anymore, I went and ran two of the support classes 10.5 Sprint and Late Model.

Round 1 Sprint was a handful and had too much steering I usually don’t have that issue and didn’t really know what to do to fix it at the time. Finished 4th in my heat car was fast just not very predictable.

Round 1 Late Model was decent just didn’t have the speed to keep up and ended up 6th.

Round 2 Sprint tightened up the car a little bit and it was better just still wasn’t very stable out of the corner. Was able to make a good finish and start 4th in the main.

Round 2 Late Model car was better switched up the tire choices and car was a lot better just had some bad luck in traffic and would end up 6th starting posisition in the main.

A main Late Model car wasn’t any better added some weight to the rear of car and car was good until track got dust on it and didn’t like it so pulled the car to save my car and not ruin anyone else’s night.

A main 10.5 Sprint car was a rocket ship made a adjustment to the chassis I had tried on the wingless and the car was a lot more predictable and first couple of laps made it up to first after Bryan Bub Bowers had a issue in traffic and for about 13 laps was able to keep the lead until Bryan came flying by me I knew his car was slightly faster than mine and didn’t want to make it a mess and with a last ditch effort from 3rd place had to pass them back to take 2nd place in the last corner.

My Team Exalt Specialized Silver Spec 10.5 was a rocket ship and it wasn’t even turned up all the way I believe I stayed under 90% throttle all night and was only a 10th behind Bryan. The Xr**ed 5700 mah battery and HB110 servo kept the car turning and burning all night. I ran the Rawspeed Radar front and rear Super Softs all night and they were fast.

I would like to thank Raw Speed Inc, Team Exalt, and The Graphic Shop for keeping my cars running fast and looking sick can’t thank them enough.

Thank u to Taylor Park R/C Raceway (Oval) track crew for keeping the track fast all night and even playing field for all the drivers and to Kevin Mcnatt for putting on a good show.

Went and raced the Power Products Race at Taylor Park R/C Raceway (Oval) and had a pretty good weekend. I raced Wingless, Midget, and Late Model.

Q1 I missed wingless and midget due to getting to track late. Late Model was decent had plenty of power and just had issues with the fluff.

Q2 Wingless was a handful and I didn’t like how the car felt just didn’t have enough flex in the car to help tighten the car up. Midget was close made a decision to add spacer to right front and it didn’t help just caused a push in the car. Late Model was pretty decent just didn’t have enough luck and then had a pin in the CVA go thru the aluminum shroud and I am glad it was after the race and I was getting car back to the pit lane area.

Mains B main in Late Model and just didn’t have enough luck and didn’t transfer.
Wingless A main car was dialed just drove too hard and needed to turn car back up had it turned down earlier in the day when it was slick and didn’t change it The Specialized Phoenix 13.5 from Team Exalt was fast and kept me going and my HB110 servo kept the car turning all night and the 5700 X Rated battery had all the power to the motor it could ask for. Raw Speed Inc Radar SS rears and Stage 2 SS fronts had me dialed with some Talent in A Bottle kept the car planted.

Midget A main was rough car was dialed after some changes and the car was flying just had a lot of chaos in the beginning and couldn’t catch up at the end and finished 5th. My HB110 servo and 5700 XR**ed Battery from Team Exalt was amazing and have been running the Quasispeed Tires as a spec tire in that class trying to get a hand on them before RC Chili Bowl next year and hope to be able to get in the A at the end car is capable just need to get driver more seat time in car and make small changes to make it faster.

Had a decent weekend at Taylor Park R/C Raceway (Oval) for points race. Ran the Customworks Beast Midget for the first time and was very pleased need to make some small changes but was pretty solid had a good base setup to start with thanks to Garrett Williamson. Made some front end changes and it seemed to be a lot better. Made some laps after the night and made some more changes and car feels pretty dialed just need to get used to driving it.
Outlaw Sprint was decent just need more time with the big motor in to be competitive.
Late Model was good just got to make laps and get better as a driver car is good and fast just need consistency. Thank you to all my sponsors for helping me get my program dialed in. Thank you Team Exalt for the amazing motors, batteries, servos, and accessories to make the cars look and perform amazing. Thank you Raw Speed Inc for having the amazing rubber to put the power to the ground. Thank you to The Graphic Shop for making my cars the best looking ones on the track.
Glen Bean thanks for the help and the pit talk as usual.
Lj Rowan and Thomas Andrew Kuter for the pit buddies y’all’s cars are getting fast and always helpful and great to have at the track.

Race Report for the 10th Annual Spring Nationals at Taylor Park Raceway in Yukon,OK.

This would be the first night as a driver for Team Exalt.

Wingless: I had recently changed the car from an Outlaw 4 chassis to an Outlaw 5 chassis, and I don’t know if I really liked the change. Car was a little difficult to get turn in and was fighting it all day. But was able to finish 6th in the main. Car was powered by the Specialized Bronze Phoenix Spec 13.5 motor and a X-***ed 5700mah battery and the HB110 Servo and all cooled with the Exalt 30x30 motor fan. Ran super soft Rawspeed Radar rears and Stage 2 fronts.

Outlaw Sprint: First round car was way over geared and had some small issues and just needed some tweaking. Second round was better just needed some more in the tank and then sensor wire went out and slowed the car down with four laps to go. D Main car was good just needed to start closer to the front Billy Caldwell had an issue and his car shut off which made it where I could bump. C main car felt like I had a chance for the bump and with the start of the race car got brake checked into turn one and spun around and couldn’t move out of the way and shattered the front right arm and ended my night. Car was powered by the Phoenix Mod 7.0, X-***ed 5700Mah Battery and also with the Exalt HB110 servo and 30x30 Exalt Motor fan. Rawspeed super soft Radar rears and Stage 2 fronts.

Thank you to my pit mates Lj Rowan and Thomas Andrew Kuter for always helping and trying to make cars better. Thank you to Craig Francis and the whole TPR crew for running an amazing show and having a fast track. Next outing should be the WFO race in two weeks at TPR and hope to see everyone there and to always have fun racing these toy cars.

It was another successful weekend for the SCR team. Glen went to The King of Dirt in Kansas City at Fastlane RC. He started 2nd in the A Main and finished 3rd after a few bobbles. Shane went to Nebraska and placed well in there weekly show there. LJ raced at Taylor Park and finished 3rd in Late Model and brought home the hardware for 1st place in his Undercover Midget. Trey raced at Taylor Park and finished 2nd in 10.5 Sportsman Sprint. Great job to the team on a great weekend.
