Taking a submission meant to look good on tv and making it work for real. A lot of these submissions are based around holds and hooks from the old days of Catch as Catch Can wrestling. Sgt. Slaughter’s Cobra Clutch is a prime example of one of these holds. When done tightly, it hurts, and it’ll put a person to sleep.

The cloverleaf leglock is used when an opponent attempts to hide the foot you are attacking. It is a natural reflex that people do all the time when defending, so capitalize on it.

A demonstration of a basic bulldog choke with Professor Andrew and Scotty. A very under utilized choke and is essentially a no-gi version of the clock choke.
