One unexpected side effect of tearing my bicep: my left hook honestly feels better than ever.
Since the tendon healed slightly differently, the mechanics of my arm changed a bit too. The recoil and snap on my hooks feel sharper, especially during tight rotational punches.
I’m not saying a torn bicep is some kind of performance hack. It definitely isn’t, but it’s interesting how the body adapts.
What started as a setback ended up teaching me a lot about rebuilding, adjusting, and finding new strengths through recovery.
