Fished David and Jake from Georgia today. Got a late start thanks to all the pop up Tstorms. Got on a good trout bite in several spots just alot of barely under slot. Same with the reds. Caught a ton of fish all together including a 30 lb big ugly, a shark and a bull red lost at the boat. Awesome trip!

My son and I took a trip out of Port Aurthur, Texas this morning with Capt. Chris of Sabine Outdoors. Had a blast. Caught plenty of solid redfish that would've kept in La and got our Texas limit. The weather even cooled off for us. Highly recommend Capt. Chris if you are in the area.

Fished a couple of groups from Texas this weekend. Boy was it hot and I mean the temp. We managed some good fish and pushed on through the heat. Caught a ton of under reds which is a great indicator for next year. Landed on a pile of trout first stop this morning. Every cast for about a half hour then silence. Was stopped by LWF and couldnt have been a better check up. Good people as always.

Ole Doug and Will came down from NOLA this morning. We were after the specks and found a good bite first thing then it stopped abruptly. Moved around some and decided to try to get some reds. Big storm cloud rolled in and kept us close. Fun trip and Will got his first spec and red and they were good ones.

Fished Mark and Larry this morning from Kansas and California. I really enjoyed our time and Larry got the best hook up I have seen in a long time. Fish absolutely blew up on it not once but three times. So exciting and weighed in at 10 lbs. Mark blessed me with a very special hand made gift and I love it. He didn't leave any detail out. So much thanks to and for these guys!
