Since summer is coming quickly, here are a few weight loss myths that need to be shut down and left in 2024:

āŒ Carbs are the enemy

Carbs are your body’s main source of energy!! You should never cut out a whole food group. Balance is key.

āŒ You should avoid all sweet treats

If you wake up one day and decide to cut sugar completely out of your diet, you may last a few days to a week, but eventually, you will binge on all kinds of sugar.

I mean come on, what’s life without a little bit of chocolate?

Instead, learn how to swap out the insanely high-calorie brownie with something that will still satisfy your sweet tooth but won’t cost you 1,000 calories of your total daily recommendation.

āŒ Cardio is the only effective way to lose weight

You do not need to spend hours on a treadmill to drop stubborn belly fat.

In fact, simply adding some form of resistance training and increasing your daily steps will do the trick.

Resistance training will transform the actual look and shape of your body rather than giving you that melted snowman appearance!!

āŒ Never eat past 8 PM

Just because you have a bedtime snack doesn’t mean you are immediately going to store that as body fat.

✨Stop the all or nothing mindset and just
move your body, add in more whole foods, and find a routine that works for you!
