Barrett Farm Ponds offers two ponds which are stocked with Bass, Bream, Bluegill, Crappie and Catfish. Public sport fishing (catch & release) is now being offered by daily and season passes. The first pond is a 5 acre pond averaging about 8 ft in depth and the second is a 1 acre dug irrigation pond with depths of up to 15 ft in places. Fishing from the bank and from small boats with non-gasoline p
owered trolling motors or paddles. This is primitive fishing. There are areas left in a completely natural state and accessible best by boat. At the same time, a majority of the ponds are accessible from the banks. Non-alcoholic refreshments may be brought and restrooms are provided behind every tree and shrub! The ponds are kept mowed and clean. There are several bait shops in the area. Rules are in place to protect everyone's fishing experience. Compliance with these rules and any additional verbal instructions are part of the Terms and Conditions affecting your use of the ponds.
1. Catch and release only. There may be special occasions where Crappie can be kept. A limit will be in effect at that time.
2. No one under the age of 16 allowed to fish without being accompanied by a 18+ year old who will be responsible for the child.
3. Fishing is allowed from safe light until sunset.
4. Use of live bait is allowed with the exception of Shiners or Goldfish.
5. No gasoline motors on boats.
6. No alcohol, guns or illegal drugs.
7. Please take what you bring. Leaving trash will impact your future use of the ponds.
8. No refunds.

Individual Annual Permit: $100.00 + Processing Fee (Valid for 365 days beginning on purchase date.) Family Annual Permit: $150.00 + Processing Fee - 2 adults and up to 4 kids under 16 from the same household. (Valid for: 365 days beginning on purchase date.)
1/2 day Permit (AM or PM) is available @ $12.00 + Processing Fee
