Looking for a way to cool off this weekend? Come float the Tar River with us in Bunn!

With the lack of recent rainfall, the river is running low and slow, making for a relaxing day on the water. Just be sure to come prepared with plenty of hydration and plan your reservation time accordingly if you have other plans later in the day.
💧 Current tube trip times are running approximately 3½–4 hours.

Looking for a paddle instead? Robertson Millpond still has a few afternoon reservation times available this weekend!

Please note that we are currently offering single kayaks only at the Millpond. Water levels are low in some of the back sections, making it difficult for tandem kayaks to navigate through the shallower areas.

Whether you're floating the river or paddling through the cypress trees, it's shaping up to be a beautiful weekend to get outside and enjoy nature.

✅ Sunglasses & a hat
✅ Water shoes or secure sandals
✅ Bug repellent (just in case)
