We last minute decided to try a new to us track yesterday. After a long day of pop up rain and waiting to dry the track we finally started making some passes around 6:00. It was an all ages race for Jr Dragsters so ages 8-17 all going for $1,000 payout. It was worth the waiting all day, we started with a round #1 win and kept going round after round getting the Bye on round #3 with my personal best light .001. Got down to the Semi finals and I had him on the tree but went a little too fast. Our car is a rocket ship and ran great last night, we turned on some win lights, made a little bit of money, and feel good about going back in two weeks for our Midwest Jr Super Series race👊🏼

It was a full house this weekend at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for our first Browns Oil E.T. Bracket race of the season! We are running a brand new car this season and moved up to the 8.90 class so thankful we were able to get a few qualifying rounds to dial in. Taking off much faster took some getting used to but by the first round eliminations we were ready and kept punching the win lights. Made it to the finals in our first race in the car and felt good about where we were at. Unfortunately, going into the final round at 12:45 am Mother Nature had other plans and we got rained out. Sundays race was also cancelled due to weather forecast.

Got to try a new track this weekend for our last Midwest Jr Super Series race in St. Louis and had some success. Sundays 6-9 age race we made it to the semi finals which hopefully was enough to bump us into the top 5 position for points. Unfortunately, we were really hoping to climb up in the top 3 for Sportsman after this weekend but due to weather that race got cancelled. We will remain in the top 5 position for the season in Sportsman. Along with the MJSS races, the Race Of Champions for our division was held and as a back up driver I got to represent our home track Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in the 6-9 age category. We took home the win for the Race of Champions and got our first BIG Check!! So thankful for the opportunity and happy with our progress throughout our first full season 👊🏼 Biggest thanks to sponsor Six Six Apparel for keeping the tires moving 🛞

What a weekend for VanGo! Attended the Midwest Jr Super Series in Cordova IL and got a lot of great runs in. Finished Saturday getting our first win for the 6-9 age group putting us into the all age group where we continued to make it to the semi finals against the big boys. Sunday is rained out but we got some win lights, won some money, and had an absolute blast doing it. Leaving on a high note and hoping to bring this momentum with us to Sikestown, MO in a few weeks👊🏼

Had a great last weekend at Lucas Oil Raceway, very happy with reaction time and getting better. Heading back to the circle track this weekend for some .25 midget racing. Dusting off the tires and ready to go🏁
