Some small announcements this November:

For the 2026 season, Arrow Minded Outdoors (Stacey Gros and Jessie Rhodes) will return as the series directors. Any new clubs interested in hosting, please let us know! You can e-mail us as [email protected] or call and leave a message: 830-515-5905

We are currently working out scheduling with a de-confliction list of other events, but expect the series to run similar to last year from mid-March with the championship set in mid-June.

Our main priority is to not conflict with TSAA State Outdoor, TSAA State Field, USATs, TFAA State Field (other TFAA State events fall outside our window), and TXASA State... in that order. We are looking at every organization across the country - NFAA/IFAA, USA Archery, ASA, IBO, S3DA, NASP - to try to provide archers with the most opportunities possible. We also understand that many archers can shoot more than one tournament a weekend, and we encourage it, particularly the TXASA and TFAA SYWAT series! Just bear with us as it is near impossible to sort through three major disciplines on local, state, national and even international level (IFAA has tournaments in the states in 2026). We will conflict with other events, sorry you have to pick and choose. We try our best to not conflict with similar disciplines first. I only wish I had this many options when I was young!

We anticipate little to no changes to the format and the "Texas 1080." As far as fees, medals, and awards, keep in mind that may change (see TSAA shared post). We'll keep everyone updated once decisions are made.

Michael outlined the grant system, as proposed by USA Archery, and contrasted it with the current system, which pays State Associations a fixed amount based on membership within the state.  USA Archery insists on the grant system moving forward to remain associated with USA Archery.  The details p...

Work on the field began today at Arrow Minded Outdoors for the 2025 TOTS Championship!

For the TOTS Championship, shooting will consist of two 36-arrow games. This is a one-day shoot ONLY on Saturday. Your best two previous TOTS scores, plus the championship scores (x2) will count towards your cumulative score. A medal ceremony will take place after the final scores are submitted and tallied. Note to be eligible for medals, you MUST have shot in two of the series prior to the championship. Medals will be awarded to archers in first, second and third places in the following classes and divisions:

More information about the event:

- The front gate will be open at 8:30 am (CST) for archer/spectator setup. Three ends of official warmup (no unofficial warmup!) begins at 9:15 am. Official scoring starts immediately after at approximately 10 am. If you are participating, please plan to be on site around 9 am.
- When you arrive (after unloading and parking), please visit the purple registration canopy near the middle of the spectator section.
- Age classes are based on your birthday of the calendar year. For example, if you turn 18 on or before December 31st, 2025, you are NOT eligible for the U18 class and must shoot U21 or Senior. ANYONE is eligible to shoot up (or down) in the Senior class.
- For distances and target faces specific to age groups and divisions, please see the USA Archery Event Reference Guidebook, pages 12-13, at https://publications.usarchery.org/books/xvbn/
Yeoman (age 9 and under) will be shooting at the suggested distance of 15 meters.
- The Fixed Pins division is available for Senior and Master classes (up to state level only), and is defined on the third section of this website: https://www.usarchery.org/events/rules
- If you registered for the wrong division or class, just shoot us an e-mail ([email protected]) and we will fix it on the internal registry. Also, be sure that your scorecard has the correct information.
- If we run out of space during registration, we will have a waiting list. Max capacity varies due to para archers taking up more than one slot and some classes not having four archers per bale for their target face/distance. Our range accommodates up to 29 bales and we generally reach capacity at about 100 archers. More information to follow as we get closer to the tournament!
- This is a USA Archery sanctioned event, and as such, scores can be submitted for records. A judge signature is required. Also, equipment inspections take place prior to the event.

Some quick notes regarding our range:

- We will have water on site, but encourage everyone to bring their own hydration.
- Please do not wear open-toed shoes. Stickers/briars are abundant in the area, as well as small critters. Short-top shoes (like Hey Dudes) are fine, as the grass will be cut short.
- Please bring your own chairs! We also have some shade under trees in the spectator area, but encourage everyone to bring umbrellas and/or portable canopies as well.
- Please note there is a discrepancy in Google Maps. Do NOT enter the address... instead search for "Arrow Minded Outdoors". There are two light blue flags on each side of our entrance, directly off FM1863 on the north side of the road, on top of a hill.

Registration closes TONIGHT, Tuesday at midnight: https://www.usarchery.org/events/event-information/47273
