Some small announcements this November:
For the 2026 season, Arrow Minded Outdoors (Stacey Gros and Jessie Rhodes) will return as the series directors. Any new clubs interested in hosting, please let us know! You can e-mail us as [email protected] or call and leave a message: 830-515-5905
We are currently working out scheduling with a de-confliction list of other events, but expect the series to run similar to last year from mid-March with the championship set in mid-June.
Our main priority is to not conflict with TSAA State Outdoor, TSAA State Field, USATs, TFAA State Field (other TFAA State events fall outside our window), and TXASA State... in that order. We are looking at every organization across the country - NFAA/IFAA, USA Archery, ASA, IBO, S3DA, NASP - to try to provide archers with the most opportunities possible. We also understand that many archers can shoot more than one tournament a weekend, and we encourage it, particularly the TXASA and TFAA SYWAT series! Just bear with us as it is near impossible to sort through three major disciplines on local, state, national and even international level (IFAA has tournaments in the states in 2026). We will conflict with other events, sorry you have to pick and choose. We try our best to not conflict with similar disciplines first. I only wish I had this many options when I was young!
We anticipate little to no changes to the format and the "Texas 1080." As far as fees, medals, and awards, keep in mind that may change (see TSAA shared post). We'll keep everyone updated once decisions are made.
Michael outlined the grant system, as proposed by USA Archery, and contrasted it with the current system, which pays State Associations a fixed amount based on membership within the state. USA Archery insists on the grant system moving forward to remain associated with USA Archery. The details p...
