This past Saturday was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love what we’re building at IVC. We had several of our club girls come help with our smaller league group, and the gym was full of energy, chaos, laughs, and SO much volleyball. Exactly how it should be!!

Huge shoutout to Kinsey, Sutton, and Claire for staying to help with the 6th grade group and even reffing for me too. These girls spend their “off days” choosing to be back in the gym. Playing, helping younger athletes, encouraging teammates, and giving back to the program. That says everything about the culture we’re creating.

When athletes genuinely love the game, support each other, and want to pour into the next group coming up behind them, you know something special is happening. Proud of these girls and proud of the standard being set at IVC! 🏐💚

League ball is fun because it’s basically structured chaos—still competitive, but relaxed enough for everyone’s true (slightly feral) personalities to show up. As a coach, I love it… and also stay on high alert 😂

Huge shoutout to our club girls who helped with the 7th/8th grade crew - Ashlyn, Claire, Kerrigan, Kinsey, Brooklynn T, May and Brooklyn L!!

You didn’t just keep things (mostly) under control, you stepped up as leaders. Guiding other players, cheering on girls with less experience, and being the kind of teammates every team needs. You carried in all the best ways. Appreciate you guys 🏐💙💚

She’s been the creative mind behind so much of the gear you’ve seen me wear, and I’m excited to share that she’s officially taking over all official merch for IVC!

I had the cutest little recruit this morning for week 1 of league! She’s pretty tall, very strong, high court IQ and very locked in.. do you guys think she’s ready for Coach Julie 16U next year? She is 179 months younger than the rest of them but she is really good at pretty much everything. Very coachable
