on Memorial Day weekend through mid-August. The Buhler Pool is operated by the Hutchinson Recreation Commission.

Daily Admission Fees:
2 & Under - FREE (must be with paying adult)
3-7 Years Old - $2 (must be with paying adult)
8-17 Years Old - $3
18+ Years Old - $3.50

Open Daily (weather-permitting) from 1-6 p.m.

🌧️ Delayed Pool Opening Today

The rain is clearing out, but we're going to give it a little more time to warm up before opening. Due to the cooler temperatures and predicted low attendance during the first part of the day, we will be delaying our opening until 3:00 PM.

🌞💦 The wait is almost over — Buhler Pool opens TOMORROW! 💦🌞
We’re thrilled to welcome you back for another summer of fun, friendship, and memory-making at the pool! 🏊‍♀️☀️ Our amazing staff is ready, our water is sparkling, and we’ve got a full season of swim lessons, parties, and splash-filled days ahead.

🌡️ Weather Considerations: The pool will open when the forecasted air temperature is expected to reach at least 75°F at some point during operating hours (1:00–6:00 PM). We will also follow strict lightning safety protocols throughout the season. In the event of delays or closures, we will make every effort to provide timely updates on Facebook.

🌊☀️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟴-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 — Opening Day is May 23rd! 🎉🏊‍♂️

Our Public Works Department has been hard at work for weeks preparing the facility, while Pool Department staff have been busy finalizing lifeguard training and getting everything ready for the season ahead. We’re excited to welcome community members back to one of Buhler’s favorite summer gathering places! 💙

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀:

🔹 The high dive has been removed. While we know this was a favorite for many, our pool’s current size, layout, and slope configuration no longer meet the public health, safety, and insurance requirements necessary to safely operate a high dive. Our top priority is providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests and staff, and we appreciate your understanding and support.

🏀 We’re excited to add a new basketball goal this season! It will be available for use during normal pool hours and is sure to bring even more fun to the pool this summer. For private pool parties, the basketball setup can be converted into a volleyball net option for groups to enjoy. 🏐🎈

🏊‍♀️ Looking ahead, City Council has expressed interest in planning for the future of our nearly 50-year-old pool. The first step will be a facility study to evaluate the pool’s current condition, explore ways to safely extend its lifespan, and identify options for future improvements or eventual replacement.

💡 We’re excited to share that grant funding has already been secured to begin this study! The results will help guide future decisions and support thoughtful community conversations in the years ahead.

We can’t wait to kick off another great summer with you all! ☀️💦
