‼️Important Update‼️

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) has issued closures along the Snake River due to the recent detection of quagga mussel veligers (larvae) in the Centennial Park area. While Blue Heart Kayaking is located outside of the closure area, we feel it is important to help limit the spread in any way that we can. Effective immediately, private watercraft will not be permitted to launch from our rental locations. This includes kayaks, paddle boards, rafts, etc.

Blue Heart Kayaking will remain open for customers with a kayak or paddle board reservation. Our equipment has not been in the Centennial Park area and is currently not a risk for spreading veligers.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please send us an email or give us a call if you have any questions. More information on the quagga mussel detection and the Department’s action plan can be found on ISDA’s website.

It’s almost Friday! 🤩☀️
Will you be joining us this weekend? We encourage all customers renting equipment to make a reservation online. This guarantees the launch time and kayak/SUP that works best for you.
We also offer river access if you would like to bring your own kayak, raft, paddle board, etc. We charge a $5 launch fee per person (children under 5 are free) and require a signed waiver from each individual in the party. Completing both of these items prior to arrival will get you out on the water SO much faster. Visit our website for more information. See you at the dock! 🛶
