⛸ Just a few weeks before public skate begins for the season!

Welcome back to the rink!

We are excited to have everyone back and looking forward to another great season with the Buffalo Storm!!

As many of you know, we host several events throughout the year to engage with our surrounding community and welcome local families into the rink. Our first event of the season is our annual Trunk or Treat, held in partnership with the Cheektowaga Youth & Recreation Halloween Skate event.

We are looking for as many teams as possible to participate by decorating a trunk and handing out candy. This will be our fourth year hosting the event, and it has been a huge success each year. It's a great opportunity for teams to spend time together while helping strengthen our connection with the local community.

If your team is interested in participating and providing a trunk, please reply to this email or text me at (716) 984-1550 no later than Sunday, September 27, 2026. A follow-up email with additional details will be sent to all participating teams.

Event Details

Event: Halloween Skate & Trunk or Treat
Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:50 PM
Location: Cheektowaga Recreation Center Hockey Rink

Additionally, please feel free to share information about this event with family and friends. In addition to open skating and Trunk or Treat, there will be a haunted house, costume contest, and many other fun activities for the community to enjoy.

We hope to see many of our Warriors teams participate and help make this another fantastic event!

Thanks,
Brandy Claar
