🥎 What a way to finish an incredible season.

The NFL Gold Championship featured exactly what championship softball should look like—a tremendous pitching duel between Sawyer Adamson of the Lou Gehrig Lasers and Izzy Kilonsky of the North Buffalo Wildcats.

Every pitch mattered. Every play mattered. Two outstanding teams battled until the very last out, with the Wildcats earning a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

To our Lou Gehrig Lasers, there is so much to be proud of. This team finished with an incredible 31-win season, capturing multiple tournament championships, creating unforgettable memories, and representing our program with heart, grit, and class every time they stepped on the field.

Thank you to our players, coaches, families, and everyone who supported these girls throughout an amazing year. The wins and trophies are special, but the friendships, growth, and memories will last a lifetime.

What a season. 💙❤️🥎

💣 When one Laser goes deep...everyone wants in on the party.

The home run celebration started Friday night when Madison Barber absolutely unloaded on a ball to left-center. It cleared the deepest part of the park—more than 225 feet away with a 10-foot fence—and it was still carrying. It was one of those swings everyone stopped to watch.

Apparently one wasn't enough.

Maddy came back the very next game and left the yard again.

On Saturday morning, Lily Lalka wasted no time getting in on the fun. She jumped on the second pitch of the game and launched it over the fence to set the tone from the very first at-bat.

Then Paige Miller added her own fireworks, driving a bomb over the left-field fence to keep the long-ball parade rolling.

When this lineup gets rolling, there's no easy out.

⚡️ WHAT. A. GAME. ⚡️

Championship-caliber teams find a way, and today the Lasers did just that.

In an incredible battle between two outstanding teams, it all came down to the bottom of the 7th inning with the bases loaded and two outs. Our girls stayed composed, made the final play, and sealed an unforgettable 4-3 playoff victory!

💥 Paige Miller provided the biggest swing of the day with a clutch home run.

🥎 Sawyer Adamson was outstanding in the circle, throwing a complete game while allowing just two hits.

🧤 Behind her was a defense that made play after play when it mattered most. Every out, every hustle play, and every player contributed to this win.

This wasn’t about one player—it was a complete team victory built on grit, confidence, and playing for each other.

Proud of this group and the way they continue to compete.

While everyone is getting ready for fireworks tonight, our offense was putting on its own show last weekend. 💥

Maddy put together one of the hottest tournaments of anyone on the team, consistently squaring up the ball and putting pressure on opposing defenses.

What a performance in pool play from our dynamic duo in the circle!

Brooke McIntyre and Lily Lalka teamed up to throw a combined no-hitter, allowing ZERO hits and just ONE walk all game long. 🔥

From the first pitch to the final out, they attacked the zone, trusted their defense, and never let the opposing lineup get comfortable.

Pitching wins games—but this was a total team effort. Great defense, timely plays, and two pitchers who competed every inning.
