Chad and Charlie Little are two of the winningest mounted shooters in the sport. Both have been Overall World Champions and Overall Reserve World Champions. If you want to win, or just improve, these boys can give you the tools and knowledge to do so. They have many shooting horses competing today from the east to the west coast. Youth sorters are what will keep ranch sorting growing and right now, we have a pretty great group of regulars here at LPH!!! Over the weekend at our North Central Sorting Association show we had 33 youth teams on Saturday and 25 youth teams on Sunday. Watching them improve over the season, and in some cases over the last few years, is amazing. The crowd is never louder than during the youth class! Kendall Cronemiller won the overall weekend buckle for the youth in a pretty tight race! Can’t wait to see what the next season brings!

Our last North Central Sorting Association show of the regular season is over. We had 335 teams over the weekend. Everyone who needed rides to qualify for finals got it done with a couple rides to spare. Bill Borgen won the weekend overall buckle for the adults! Here are the results from each class.

We will have $200 in added money for our youth classes ($100 each day) at our next North Central Sorting Association show on September 5th & 6th thanks to a donation by Sherry Cervi, a strong supporter of all youth riders regardless of the discipline! Come on out for our last show of the 2026 North Central Sorting Association season! Need to get those last few rides in to qualify for finals? Want to try to move up on the leaderboard? Or just want to have some fun in the sun with good cattle, good people, and good horses? We don’t care why, we just want to see you one last time before…well…let’s not talk about the next season we’ll be seeing here in Minnesota quite yet. Always a good time here in Buffalo!!!

Here are the quick facts and results from our North Central Sorting Association over the weekend (a little late, sorry).

We had 242 first go teams on Saturday and 129 first go teams on Sunday for a total of 371 first go teams over the weekend.

We paid out $13,880. That included the $1,000 in added money originally promised plus $326 added money that was generously given by Mark Stockton ($226) and Dave & Amy Peterson ($100) to our youth class on Saturday! Thank you!!!

Can’t wait to see you all at our final show of the season on September 5th & 6th!
