Meet Dixie. šŸ“

The most laid-back, coming two-year-old paint youā€™ll ever meet. While the warm weather is still hanging on in Wyoming, we spent a little time just playing around with her ā€” and Dixie decided to make things easy by walking herself right into the round pen. Wellā€¦ if a horse volunteers like that, you take advantage of the situation.

With only one previous session under her belt, she remembered moving around the pen like sheā€™s been doing it all along. Thatā€™s the beauty of taking just a few minutes every now and then ā€” small reminders that slowly prepare them for the next chapter in life.

Right now, sheā€™s basically the friendly teenager of the herd ā€” curious, funny, and always happy to see people. The kind of horse that actually enjoys being messed with.

Huge thanks to Becky for raising her right and taking such good care of her. It shows.

In a couple of years, sheā€™ll be part of the workforceā€¦ but for now sheā€™s just learning the ropes (literally) and enjoying the process. Stay tuned ā€” Dixieā€™s story is just getting started.
