Pitch Workbook now available through Etsy or Paypal. This is more than just a notebook. I built it to help pitchers track their progress, stay accountable, and understand what they’re working on.

It also keeps me accountable as an instructor, because it helps make sure we eventually cover all the areas needed to become an elite pitcher, not just speed or mechanics.
I basically took a lot of the common questions that come up in this group and built them into one workbook that pitchers can actually use.

CONGRATS TO Maddy Matthews and the Lancaster Varsity Softball team going onto the State Championship game today at 11am.

Maddy Matthews pitched 3⅔ perfect innings before a 2-hour, 26-six minute rain delay slowed the Legends. But when play resumed, the sophomore induced two long flyouts to center field to keep the score 3-0 in her team’s favor, and Dimino also picked up where she left off. She stroked a two-RBI single in the top of the fifth to give her team some breathing room.

Saratoga switched pitchers twice in the inning after that, but between walks and a hit batter, there were hits by Ava Konieczny, Dewald, Dowling, Isabella Dimino and Lily Kuzara. Matthews retired the side in the bottom of the sixth to wrap up the game via the 12-run mercy rule.

“You never know what’s going to happen after a rain delay,” Winiatowski said. “It could have gone the other way. It was hot, humid, and their pitcher threw a lot of pitches and got tired. Our pitcher got tired, too.”

Maybe so, but Matthews allowed just two hits and struck out three while walking none and hitting just one batter.

Taylor Zajac allowed just one run in a complete-game effort, and Jess Morrison crushed her second home run of the season to lead the Bentley softball team to a 6-1 win over Adelphi Friday afternoon. The Falcons bounced back after losing the first game of the doubleheader, 10-0 (5 inn.).

I’ve been working on a NEW NOTEBOOK for my pitchers for a while now and I’m really excited to finally share it. It’s more of a workbook than notebook.
The biggest thing I use it for is accountability… For the student and MYSELF.
