Josh Allen has already established himself as one of the defining quarterbacks of his generation.
But CBS Sports believes a Super Bowl is the final piece needed to cement his legacy.
Year after year, Allen has carried Buffalo into championship contention, producing elite numbers while becoming one of the most dangerous dual-threat quarterbacks the NFL has ever seen.
Yet one accomplishment remains missing.
A Super Bowl victory would instantly elevate Allen into another tier of NFL history and separate him from the group of great quarterbacks who never finished the job.
It would also mean something even bigger in Buffalo.
The Bills have never won a Super Bowl despite making four consecutive appearances in the early 1990s. Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly came close multiple times but never captured the Lombardi Trophy.
Allen now has an opportunity to accomplish what no Bills quarterback has ever done.
The individual accolades are already there.
A championship would make him a Buffalo legend forever.
