Sail Buffalo Sail Buffalo seeks to create a Community Sailing Center where sailing, science and nutrition combine to transform individuals and families.

The project entails the transformation of an abandoned inlet into a Community Boating Center that provides public access to Buffalo's waterfront. We are an accredited sailing school with a mission to create an exciting safe and secure facility on Buffalo's Outer Harbor, enabling public access to the waterfront through boating, wellness and environmental programming. ation for on-the-water training, holistic learning experiences, wellness and environmental education regardless of income, gender and age, including people with disabilities, and to provide a safe-haven for young veterans and their families.

Sail Buffalo officially commences its 2026 sailing season, and we are excited to welcome back so many of our former participants.
Our Junior Sailing program is almost at full capacity, with limited spots remaining. Since its release in January, the Friends of Sail Buffalo Season Pass has garnered considerable interest, particularly among our returning Skippers and welcoming many new to Sail Buffalo.
Our ASA classes are also in high demand, with several advanced ASA103 and ASA104 classes already booked. Newcomers to sailing and those seeking advanced training are encouraged to contact us, and we will provide the necessary support to ensure their success.
