Mid America Raceway in Buffalo Grove, IL is hosting the 2022 WWA Womp World Championships on April 2, 2022.

This One Day Event will feature Spec Stomp, Stock Car and GTP Womp cars and racing on Three different tracks.

Entry Fees are 50.00 per class and includes Two Handout GRC/Stomp Motors, One pair of Mid America Hand Out Rear Tires and ALL Track time fees and class Entry Fees.

All entrants will also receive One Mid America Goodie Bag. One bag per racer that enters the event.

There will also be Trophies for the Winners of Each class along with a Overall Champion Trophy to the Overall Winner of the event.

2022 WOMP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY MID AMERICA RULES

STOMP SPEC on LAZY 8 TRACK

Must run all parts as they come on Stomp RTR with following exceptions

Chassis: Only the Mid America Stomp Brass chassis may be used. No modifications allowed to chassis. Chassis must be flat, no bending. No cutting, drilling, bracing etc. No pin tubes allowed, must use body clips. May solder oilites in place, no offset oilites allowed. May add lead weight, weight may only be lead and on Top of chassis Only. Motor may be soldered or screwed in place.

Guides, Lead Wire, Clips: May add or remove guide spacers. Must run non cut down Mid America Aero guide. Weighted guides not allowed. Must run Lead Wire that comes on RTR Stomp car. May change guide nut. May add Lead Wire Retainer.

Gears, Axles, Spacers, Fronts: Must run 48 pitch 9 tooth Angled or Straight pinion. Pinion may be soldered on. May change Crown Gear size. 1/8" axles front and rear. Must run 3/4" O-Ring fronts as they come on the Stomp RTR. May change axle spacers. No independent fronts allowed.

Clearance/Width: .050" rear clearance. Both chassis and crown gear must clear .050" Max 3 1/4" width front and rear. Width must be centered from the chassis centerline. No offset spacing.

Rear Tires: Hand Out Mid America Tires only. Tires may be trued and narrowed.

Motor: Hand Out Mid America GRC Stomp Motors only.

Body: Must use Mid America Part Number 871 Coupe Body. Bodies must be fully painted minimum one color. Must have three decal or painted numbers. Windows must be clear. May add tape and body armor to the inside of the body only. May tape body clips to body/chassis. No cutting into the top of the fenders front and rear.

CUP STOCK CAR on OVAL

Chassis: May use Mid America Stomp, Mid America Hammer,Hammer LTO, R-GEO Goblin 334,344, Parma Steel or Brass Womp, Champion Thumper, JW Performance #006, K&G # 16-02, LVJ 002, 002B, Riggen 5003/7002, H&R HRST01, Caveman 32-1001, MPP Womp 2.

Chassis may be modified. Chassis must be one piece/solid construction. No multiple piece movements allowed. Oilites must be used, offset oilites allowed. Chassis may be cut, drilled, braced, etc. May use solid pin tubes, no floating pin tubes allowed. May add lead wire retainer. May add lead weight only. Lead weight may only be added to the top of the chassis. No ball bearings allowed. May solder or screw motor in place.

Guides, Lead Wire, Clips: May use any Guides, Lead Wire, Clips, Nut, Spacers. Weighted guides allowed. May add lead wire retainer.

Gears, Axles, Spacers: May use any 48 pitch pinions and crown gears. Gearing is open. May use 3/32" or 1/8" axles front or rear. Axles must be steel. No hollow or light weight axles allowed. Axles may be flatted for set screws.

Fronts: Must be black foam/rubber. Minimum width .400". Minimum diameter .750". Fronts may be independent. No ball bearings.

Clearance/Width: Rear of chassis and gear must clear by .050". Max width front and rear 3 1/4". Front and Rear width may be offset no more than 1.875" rear side offset measured from the centerline on the chassis.

Rear Tires: Must use Hand Out Mid America Tires Only. .750" Min Dia. Tires may be trued to minimum diameter and narrowed.

Motor: Must use Hand Out Mid America GRC Stomp Motors Only.

Body: Must use any 1973 to Present Cup Womp Style Stock Car body. Minimum thickness .010". Front and rear wheel openings must be cut out. Body must have three decal or painted numbers. Minimum one color, fully painted. All windows must be clear. May add tape and body armor inside the body only.

GTP on LTD

Chassis: See Cup Stock Car Rules. Same rules for GTP and Cup Stock Car classes.

Guides, Lead Wire, Clips: May use any Guides, Lead Wire, Clips, Nut, Spacers. Weighted guides allowed. May add lead wire retainer.

Gears, Axles, Spacers: May use any 48 pitch pinions and crown gears. Gearing is open. May use 3/32" or 1/8" axles front or rear. Axles must be steel. No hollow or light weight axles allowed. Axles may be flatted for set screws.

Fronts: O-Ring Fronts only. Minimum diameter .750". Fronts may be independent. No ball bearings.

Rear Tires: Must use Hand Out Mid America Tires Only. .750" Min Dia. Tires may be trued and narrowed.

Body: May use any 1/32 Womp style Group C or GTP body only. Examples of allowed bodies ( Kremer Porsche, C-100, etc. ) No Wedge/Wing/Wide style bodies allowed. Minimum Thickness .010" Body must be fully painted minimum one color. Must have three decal or painted numbers. Windows must be clear.

Rear Tires: Mid America Hand Out Tires Only.

Motor: Mid America Hand Out Motors only.
