We hope this letter finds you well and thriving amidst the beauty of our beloved river this spring. We are writing to provide you with an update on the Pocket Wave 2.0 Project, which is poised to enhance our river experience and community connectivity.

This Town capital improvement project at the Buena Vista Whitewater Park remains on target for completion in late September 2024. Despite our past timeline challenges, our dedicated team is working diligently to ensure that this endeavor aligns with our shared vision of creating a fun, accessible, and safe river feature for all users.

As we move closer to the final stages of development, we are utilizing this time to fine-tune the design, ensuring that every aspect of the Pocket Wave 2.0 enhances your experience on the river. Our primary objective remains unchanged: to provide a space that fosters enjoyment, inclusivity, and community engagement while alleviating congestion at the River Park in Buena Vista.

We are actively seeking additional funding to realize this project's full potential and elevate the overall experience for all who visit the Buena Vista Whitewater Park. Your support is helping us implement essential amenities such as signage, benches, revegetation efforts, shade trees, and trail upgrades. These enhancements will not only enhance the park's aesthetic appeal but also contribute to its sustainability and accessibility for future generations to enjoy.
